Beach Reunion's guest rating of 4.66 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“We loved the location of the condo complex, right between Destin and seaside area. 20-30 mins to either. The condo itself was in a great spot and close to pool/beach with great views. Be prepared to bring all amenities. Only 1 trash bag was provided, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Cleaning service before our stay was not great, we had ants in the bathroom on day 1 from what looked like a sticky spill on the bathroom counter that was not cleaned up, dusty in some areas, shower liners needing replaced, a lot of dishes were not cleaned well. Bath towel rod in main bathroom fell off the wall a few times, blinds chain in shower was broken. Other than those things, we did enjoy our stay! Overall it just needs a little refresh/deep clean especially for the price.”airbnb

“We paid approximately $1,400 per night plus taxes and fees and were very disappointed by the condition of this property. Upon arrival, the home was not clean: hair on pillows, stained towels, toothpaste on a vanity, dirty surfaces, stained furniture, and a musty carriage house room with a dead cockroach. Outdoor areas were also neglected, with cigarette butts, empty bottles, debris, and stained walls throughout the property. We were missing three beach towels and did not receive them until our third day of a four-night stay. A bathroom faucet came loose, the outdoor trash bins were already full, and we had to move trash to the curb ourselves. Most concerning, lawncare men wearing balaclavas entered the enclosed patio area without prior notice. As a group of women expecting privacy, we found this very upsetting. I spent hours documenting issues and sending photos and videos to management. No one ever came to inspect the property, and no meaningful resolution or compensation was offered.”airbnb

“The beach and ocean were absolutely beautiful, but our stay at this condo was incredibly frustrating due to severe cleanliness and property issues. Check-in was frustrating because address in the app was wrong and there was no welcome package or parking passes. The unit was dirty upon arrival: food under/on the table, a rancid smell from standing water under the sink. We lacked basics like extra trash bags and toilet paper. (2 bathrooms had 1 roll, 1 had 0) Maintenance is heavily neglected. Both sliding doors had broken locks (though one was rigged with a hook). The master toilet takes 15 minutes to refill, the freezer was frozen shut, and the Wi-Fi/TV were terrible. The resort has issues too: a dirty pool, rude security, and literal mushrooms growing in the outdoor men's bathroom! Finally, beware of renting La Vida Dolche chairs here; people are allowed to set up personal gear directly in front of you, completely blocking your view of the water and your kids.”airbnb

“We loved the view the condo gave but the condo itself is outdated, main door handle on the outside felt like it was going to fall off at any moment. We also had to drive to go get our parking passes from the beach reunion main office because they did not have them prepared or out for us in the condo. The carpet was coming up in between the kitchen and living room (sent in a photo), there was only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, which isn’t useful when you’re staying 6 days and 5 nights. The bathroom towels were just thrown under the sink in the master. The coffee maker didn’t work, the fridge door wouldn’t shut fully unless you pushed on it, they gave no basic seasonings like salt or pepper. Overall we had a fine stay, the condo just needs some TLC.”airbnb

“Our stay was fine. The location was good. Loved being on the beach. The place is older and in need of updates. The bathroom had some moldy spots. It was very tight space for 8 people and the second bedroom and bathroom are pretty small. Ice maker was broken and never fixed.”airbnb

“The location is great! Easy walk to the beach and pool, golf cart was an added bonus. Layout was perfect for our needs. Something to note, the bunkbeds are in the downstairs hall… not a room. Now the notes: -there was dried vomit or urine on the door and wall in the 3rd floor big bedroom. -all floors and baseboards were quite dirty -towels were cheap -toilet paper even worse—bring your own. -only one kitchen towel was hard to manage Overall what we needed for a long weekend with adult friends.”airbnb

“The space was good and views were beautiful. The bedding in the master room was stained and i had to request a new cover for the bed and the bathroom shower curtain in the queen room was not clean. The chair in the living room was old and covered but the cover would not stay on. I have stayed in air b& bs before that provided just the basics like salt and pepper, paper plates, sugar, extra trash bags, detergent..this was not provided. Luckily I brought an extra trash bag that I was able to use. We didn’t have a parking pass through out the stay and one was going to be provided on our last day, but we didn’t need it since we were leaving. The remote had to be replaced in the Queen room. The coffee maker was old and had to be plugged in to be used and the plug needed to be removed to turned off. There were no extra blankets. I would not stay in this unit in the future for the money I paid and the follow up I had to do.”airbnb

“Upon arriving at the home, we immediately noticed how hot it was as well as an unpleasant odor throughout the house. The temperature inside was set to 74 through most of our stay. The gas stove wouldn’t start up unless we used a lighter every time we need to cook. The refrigerator had a noticeable fishy odor and didn’t keep food sufficiently cold, turned out the motor needed to be replaced. The smoke detector went off in the middle of the night disrupting everyone’s sleep (an infant was in that bedroom). Bedding had stains as well as restrooms and stove/kitchen area. Once we reached out about each issue, it would be delayed responses event through the “emergency #” We had numerous people come & out due to the issues. This was by far the worst Airbnb experience we’ve experienced. Wouldn’t come back again. The house is outdated and need many repairs. Also, if the temp is set to not go below 70, this info should be shared prior to having someone book. Above all, I’d give 0 stars.”airbnb

“Condo is very big but needs updating. Carpet needs to be stretched and tacked down where it meets the kitchen. Chair in family room had semi cover over it to cover up the worn out leather. Come on people. This is an easy fix. Condo was great other than this. Location is probably a good mile or so before you get on beach so make sure you bring a rolling cart or rent a golf cart. Lots of room in condo for a large party.”airbnb

“Had some trouble with the wristbands and parking passes and I wasn’t getting an answer for the first day or 2 but ended up getting it all figured out and had no problems other than that.”airbnb
