“Pros: Very clean and easily walkable to the beach. Cons: Price too high for what you get. Downstairs bathroom shower is super tiny. Way too many long texts and emails to sift through to find info you need. Hot tub wasn’t working. Mentioned our daughter possibly bringing her small dog to visit. Repeatedly got texts and emails for a “pet fee” even after I told them never mind. Pet fee is BS for what you’re already paying for this place!”

“The house is very convinent and close to the beach. They have tons of beach chairs and accessories for your stay. The only thing is that the service is poor - the dryer broke mid way through the stay and we weren't able to dry our clothes all the way through. Even after having to leave them out in the sun and heat. We've called them and they sent someone over to try and fix it and they weren't able to- but we were given some more clean towels. The house could be a little more clean but we still enjoyed our stay.”

“This place was an absolute scam. We paid over $5k for 4 nights and the place was infested with roaches, making the downstairs unusable. The amenities were completely broken, unusable, or stained to where you didn’t want to touch them. There was mold in the vents above the beds in the bedrooms, the bathrooms and on the baseboards in the house. They provided 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 laundry pod, 1 dishwasher pod, no coffee pods, no coffee maker, and 2 towels per bathroom when the booking was for 7 people. They had cameras watching the common areas with an owner who actively watched them, we know this because they told us once we were there… They said they would bring pest control to the house but instead gave us a can of roach spray and told us to do It ourselves! Half the property was unusable due to cleanliness and the property was not as advertised in the slightest. I have never complained about a stay, but this was unacceptable especially for the price.”

“Terrible internet, A/C unit is locked and then doesn’t even get down to the temp it’s set too. Shower head pressure in master shower is terrible couldn’t even wash my hair in that shower.”

“It was a nice condo in a perfect location. Aside from some issues. We arrived and one tv was broken and the lamps acted wonky. A WiFi password was not given, I was told to call their tech support number for it. I didnt do that so we had no WiFi access the whole time and cell service in a condo is spotty. I also went to use the crushed ice from the fridge and my gut told me to check under the dispenser to make sure it had been cleaned properly. It had not and was full of black chunks. Some other minor things: there was zero hand soap (I had to ask to be brought some) and just 1 roll of paper towels, only 2 kitchen towels, no coffee filters (was not listed) and the fridge shelves repeatedly fell off if items were in them. One major thing: the condo was not clean. Everyone in my group had a dirt film on our feet after being there for only a few hours. And the grime along the baseboards was visible; it was very visible in the white track of the door. Also the vacuum doesn’t work.”

“The location and beach access are the biggest positives of this condo. The smaller building meant short elevator waits & plenty of beach space. The king beds had comfortable mattresses, while the other 2 beds were much less comfortable. Mostly clean but the floor was sticky when we arrived, so we mopped. The washing machine would not balance or finish the spin cycle on two different basic loads. Paint is peeling from the cabinets, the popcorn ceiling is falling off in places, furniture is dated, and every room has chipped or worn paint. The high-touch surfaces—were coated with grime. Baseboards are grimy & dirty. The gross rug in the kitchen needs to go. The bedrooms have computer monitors instead of actual TVs, and we could never get the master bedroom TV to do anything except turn on. There are no lamps in the master bedroom, and the lower electrical outlets didn’t work. Basic starter supply of soap & paper products. No laundry baskets or hangers. No stash of pool/beach toys.”

“We stayed for 4 days. The home was clean, the listing photos were accurate, and the pool was a great bonus. Unfortunately, we experienced a major septic backup during our stay. Around 11 p.m., while traveling with small children, the management company relocated us to another unit 40 minutes away, only for us to arrive and find it hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests. We called and sent photos but received no response. We returned to the original home, cleaned up the backup ourselves, and stayed there since we knew it was clean. The next day, the property manager had the septic tank pumped and acknowledged it was a recurring issue. Her supervisor apologized, offered compensation without us asking, and said he’d follow up to “make us whole.” Two weeks later, we’ve received neither a follow-up nor the promised reimbursement. Great home, but the septic issue and poor communication impacted our stay.”

“the property was beautiful. Home very clean spacious and really comfortable. The pools and beaches are absolutely stunning. I wanted to give 5 stars across the board but unfortunately maintenance had to come ti fix the freezer and refrigerator , plus they have a room service fee if you need extra wash clothes and towels. They came to our condo to fixed freezer, refrigerator and dropped off the towels we asked for but stole my Brighton Watch worth 175 .00. The following morning I realized my pain medication had been stolen as well. Thank God I only brought a couple pain pills. My advice if you need assistance for anything do not leave until they come and leave. Or take all valuables items with you. I did report this issue to Beach Getaways by text and emailed Rez. Im very upset and disappointed. otherwise it would've been a perfect trip.”

“To say that I am disappointed after my check out is an understatement. I just received my updated bill and after paying AirBNB for my stay of what I thought was upfront fees, I was billed daily HOA amenity fees on my stay, plus a check in fee of $75 PLUS tax on top of this, all fees I was not told of in advance. What an outrage and disappointment”

“We do not recommend this beach house or the management company. During Tropical Storm Arthur, management showed little flexibility or concern regarding guest safety and travel conditions on the day of check-in, which was disappointing. The house itself is dated and appears not to have been meaningfully updated in many years. Additionally, the advertised “fourth bedroom” is misleading. It is not connected to the main house and can only be accessed by going outside and down a flight of stairs. The bed in this room was severely worn and sagged noticeably in the middle, making it uncomfortable to use. The only nearby bathroom facility for this bedroom is an outhouse-style toilet, which was not what we expected based on the listing. There were also maintenance issues throughout our stay. The front door handle regularly came loose and fell off, raising concerns about the property’s overall upkeep. Overall, the property did not meet our expectations.
