“The place was very nice, beautiful art on the walls, the amenities were as described. The fact that it was walking distance to the beach and restaurants was a huge plus!”

“This was easily the worst Airbnb experience we have ever had. The home was filthy upon arrival, with visible stains on the carpet, toilet seat, and linens. When we politely informed the host that the master shower was not working and asked for additional towels and blankets, her response was extremely hostile. Instead of addressing the issues, she immediately threatened to evict us, falsely claiming we violated policy by bringing two dogs. Both are fully documented, ADA-compliant service animals, fully adhering to Airbnb policy and local laws. Additionally, the waterfront area was unacceptable. The small beach was dirty and slimy, and goose/bird droppings covered the yard, beach, and dock. We came looking for a relaxing weekend on the Spokane River and Lake Coeur d’Alene, but left exhausted from dealing with an unnecessarily mean, hostile host who ruined a special family trip. Avoid this property.”

“Wow! This is a fantastic property, both inside and out. Beautiful landscaping and outdoor spaces. The lot is very large, no neighbors right on top of you. There wasn’t a lot of boat traffic but during our stay but I imagine it can get busy. It has a new dock, perfect for running down and jumping straight into the river. The kitchen is a nice size and is very well stocked, which made cooking with family a lot of fun. Everyone enjoyed the beds, very comfortable as far as Airbnb beds go! The rooms are huge, plenty of room for us and our adult sons and their girlfriends. Close to the bike trail which made coming and going from CDA a breeze. There is a lovely patio area for eating and hanging out with an old an old school Weber charcoal grill for cooking. This is truly a five-star location, we hope to be able to stay again soon.”

“This is a beautiful place, it was so nice to see the ocean daily and listen to it while sleeping at night. The outdoor shower was incredibly convenient for our kids who like to make sand angels. Watching the kids in the sand while making breakfast is a convenience!”

“Location is everything here! Ants are a real issue as stated in other reviews. However, there are ways around it. Put all food in fridge or microwave. Don’t use a dish towel, this attracts them. There is also basically no phone service in the area, so screenshot your instructions prior to arrival. Personal issues: left my very expensive headphones on the busy bedspread. Contacted the host immediately, she said her cleaning staff didn’t find them & they don’t go back to “deep clean for weeks.” 🙄 So yeah. Also there is no welcome gift, not an issue for me, but it is false advertising 😂”

“We arrived around 5 p.m. Thursday to find the house had not been cleaned or prepared for our stay. The beds contained used linens, towels and bedding were left throughout the house, there was sand everywhere, and the house smelled strongly of fish/mold. Six of us had flown in from across the country and specifically paid a premium for this beachfront house to spend our limited time together. Instead, our first evening was spent contacting management, arranging emergency cleaning, considering alternative accommodations, and leaving the property for dinner. The rushed cleaning did not fully resolve the cleanliness or odor issues. Additionally, the internet was unusable for nearly the entire stay, interfering with remote work and forcing us to relocate our planned fantasy football draft to a bar.”

“House was in a great location , we enjoyed the views and walking to the nearby restaurant . Happy we could bring our dogs. We were surprised the beach is not accessible from the rear of the house. There is a large rock wall. You can walk from the front of the home a few mins down but a bit disappointing and makes hauling beach chairs and things back harder .”
