Manager Review

Bayridge Hotel

Bayridge Hotel's guest rating of 4.63 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The location is far from most of the attractions had to take train for about 45-50 mins for every attraction. Room said can occupy 4 people but it's a smaller place kitchen almost had no cutlery only 1 pan and one spoon The bigger place shown in the image is the entrance lobby not the room lobby Overall the space is kind of old building request for late check-out was accomdated but the price seems very high overall felt the space was overpriced

Definitely recommend!! The place was very easy to find and was very clean. The neighborhood is really peaceful and I definitely felt safe, I liked that there are restaurants, coffee shops and stores nearby and at a very walkable distance. I will definitely recommend if you are trying to find a quiet and nice neighborhood

I really wanted to like this place! I hate to complain, there was hardly any ventilation in the room. The bathroom was slanted and the water would not go down the drain. There were three employees of the hotel on the roof smoking weed in front of us while my family and I had lunch. Lastly, there were always interesting “Characters” in the lobby. I would not recommend this place unfortunately. When I reached out to Emily, they stopped responding to me!

Very deceptive description by Saul and Emily. It is not a studio but a tiny room. If I could post pictures you would see how dirty the carpet is and the closet hanging pole is old and rusted. The toilet roll holder is missing the cylinder holder. I was super disappointed with is place. Yuk!! I’m turned off of Air B and B. Don’t think I’ll go this route again.

The place was amazing overall but the check out at 10 Am felt like a rush and the receptionist obligated me to pay $20 for one hour extra before I leave like he the one that I booked the place with that’s the only part that felt unprofessional check out time is 11Am everywhere on Airbnb !

We walked in the room and saw how terrible the place was. It does not match the pictures. I’m not sure if It’s even the same room that is pictured. We found bloody rag under the bed, hair , and trash. The bath towels look like old garage towels. It smelled bad there were stains on the headboard. We walked out immediately tried to get a refund and they would not give it to us. But there was no way we could stay in such a terrible place.

Check-in instructions were clear, but the unit was very different from the listing photos. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling, the beds had hairs and visible stains (one smelled like coffee), the rug was filthy, I would not walk on the floor without shoes and there were dead bugs in the light fixture. We were uncomfortable staying and left shortly after arriving, without spending the night. The host only offered a $50 refund. I’d recommend looking elsewhere, as the condition of the unit was misleading compared to the listing photos.

Listed as a urban studio when it is a dorm style room. The bathroom is extremely small to where you cannot put the toilet tissue on the toilet roll or you won’t have space to sit and getting in and out of the shower without getting the floors completely wet is impossible. The bedframe is covered in stains and it’s truly a cramped space - a hotel room is more spacious. And we could hear conversations from the other rooms while we were in ours. Emily was completely responsive up until I asked for a partial refund for the disappointment of the space and haven’t heard back since Monday as she said she would check with her partner. The two bedrooms in her listings may be better, but I won’t take the chance as the cleanliness is a concern to me and the wondering what I’d be actually walking into since the space wasn’t a studio and the bathroom wasn’t spacious. Also the photos for the bathroom isn’t the correct photos for that bathroom. We ended up leaving early with how uncomfortable we were
