“This was the worst time at North Myrtle Beach my family and I ever had. We were offered a late checkout option on Friday, for 3pm Sunday at $100. Our stay was Thursday-Sun. Never once was there mention of a timeframe to choose late checkout. I requested late check out for Sunday, on Saturday., only to be told, "I couldn't get a late checkout" now because they hadn't heard from me. We will never stay here again. The communication is terrible, and they even stopped replying at one point.”

“The area felt safe and was close to lots of restaurants and shopping. The listing looked just like the pictures and there was enough space we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Everything was clean. However all the beds were awful.”

“We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful resort, nice pools, great location! Condo was spacious, great layout, and a terrific base station for our trip. It was also an excellent value, especially considering it was during peak Summer season. The house was generally clean and well equipped. However, some things are very outdated and worn out and need updating. The pillows were very worn, as well as the sheets. Almost every blanket had stains, as did the couch. The washer and dryer need replacing. It took 4 cycles to dry clothes. The walls also need to be cleaned. The walls next to the twin beds were filthy and black and I had to wipe them down so my kids would sleep there. There were VHS players. I also found someone else's dirty sock under the bed and the balcony needs vacuuming. It was still very nice though despite minor issues, we had a comfortable stay, and would stay again. The air condition also worked well. Just some simple updates would make it perfect, but still a great stay.”

“Overall the stay was fine. I didn’t think the lock felt very secure. You can’t tell if the door is locked from the inside unless you use the deadbolt, which you can’t use if someone needs to get inside. The lighting in the unit is not great. Needs to be brighter. The bedding needs to be updated. I had two different pillows on my bed, which was weird. The small bedroom walls were dirty and need to be painted. Overall it was clean and comfortable but in need of some updating.”

“Not the worst Airbnb I ever stayed in. But definitely not impressive. We have stayed in this resort before and rented from a person and not a company and I wish we would have been able to rent from the person again. We drove for over 13 hours to get there and had to stop and get our pool keys which in previous rentals the keys were left in the house for us. But they knowingly gave us the wrong key and let us leave with it. Only to be told by a rude condo owner patrolling the pool that we were given the wrong key. Then we had to go back to office to get it fixed with two over tired kids that just wanted to swim. There was multiple broken items and things that needed to be updated. One day we even lost power and when we told them about it we were told there was nothing they could do about it. We told them we had food in the fridge and they didn't even offer a cooler or ice or anything. It was clean, the view was nice, and the beds were comfy but the other things outweighed that.”
