Barefoot Resort Rentals

“I recently stayed at Barefoot Resort for a weekend. Overall, the experience was good and I enjoyed my stay. The location and amenities were nice, and everything else met my expectations. However, the cleanliness could definitely be improved. There was hair in the bed and in the tubs, which was disappointing and took away from the comfort of the stay. Aside from that issue, everything else was fine. With better attention to cleaning, this would have been a great stay.”

“This is our second time renting in Barefoot. The place was very clean and comfortable. Everything g we needed was provided. We are golfers so it was a bit away from the courses we could afford. We did enjoy our stay and will be back. Thank you Christine.”

“Barefoot rentals we spot on through our entire stay. Everything looked very nice, the view from screened in balcony was beautiful and the unit was very clean, quiet and organized. On top of the great weather (low 80s), it was a good time for us. Would love to stay again.”

“We loved our stay. The condo is exactly as pictured, very clean, relaxing, and conveniently close to the pool. No noise whatsoever. It was very hard for us to leave. I hope we are lucky and availability works in our favor for our next trip. Book it, you will not be disappointed. Plus, the hosts were amazing!”

“Such a long story that I’ll make short. The photos of this house make it look almost brand new but it’s not. I could be a nice place with a little bit of renovations to the kitchen (dated appliances) which we ended up not using. The bathroom was tore up (from what they told me the person before us had a dog that tore that up. The dead massive roaches were absolutely disgusting. I was so scared and didn’t sleep since we ended up having to stay 2 days. We left the house besides to sleep to be out of there. Was supposed stay a week and we found another place and left. It could be a cute little place with the little (lake,river) directly infront of the house. I must say I’ll never rent from this company again as they said there cancellation policy for this home was no refund well I screenshot that and sent it to them. Their tune changed quickly. Also Airbnb support helped us get out of there and got most of our money back. Sucks to have to do this during your vacation.”

“Our stay was absolutely amazing at the Cottage in Longs with Barrfoot Resort. The property was beautiful and full of all kinds of wildlife. the 5 acres does have no trespassing signs but its unclear where the 5 acres starts and ends, we did have a few people come up on the property that was clearly on part of the 5 acres we had rented. I contacted Barefoot and they was fast to get back to me and help me get that situation taken care of. I was so happy to find the place clean and the beds felt amazing my favoriteis the shower that has 2 shower heads on each side. My favorite part was the front porch where you can sit for houses and watch boats and tubes go down the water in front of the Cottage. Barefoot definitely has a lifelong customer for our vacation needs in that area customer service was top notch and the house was just so comfortable id honestly like to just call that home. We will be back!!”

“Very pretty. Unfortunately the weather was so bad we had to check out early and wasn’t able to much. Seemed like everything was pretty close. Wish we had been able to do more but at least the place we were in was nice.”

“Very nice community and apartment. spacious and pretty well maintained. the sofas probably need replacing because they look dated and there was a wood board underneath the cushions, which made it a little uncomfortable to sit for long periods of time. Also the TV channels were difficult to manage and to go from 1 channel to next- would recommend upgrading tv if possible. overall, I was basucally satisfied”

“Perfect peaceful location to spend the weekend! The only complaint we had, which was brought to the hosts attention and they responded with an explanation right away, was the ladder to the loft had been removed and the dog pen under the house had been taken out. Otherwise our stay was just what we expected the whole time! The kids enjoyed fishing and walking around the property and spent most of their time outside. The house was clean and everything was in working order. We will definitely be back!”
