“We had a great stay! The house is quiet, tucked away on the golf course, and the host was very responsive. Bald Head Island is beautiful, and this was a great home base. One thing I wasn’t sure about before booking was what amenities were included, so here’s what we found: two golf carts, beach chairs, beach toys, a few larger bikes, two beach towels, umbrellas, and a few board games. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, which is great for longer stays. The beds were comfortable, but the house is stocked pretty minimally. There are only enough towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, and other essentials for a short stay, with few extra blankets or linens. If you’re staying more than a few days, I’d recommend bringing additional toiletries or picking them up at the island market. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!”

“Beautiful house and a very responsive host. A storm took out the upstairs AC before our arrival. She provided portable units and was very proactive on providing a comfortable environment for us. We will be back to visit soon!”

It made the morning feel a bit rushed and guest just need to be aware and plan accordingly. Overall, a nice experience.”

“Easy place to stay and communication with the host. Appreciated some of the items that were well stocked in the house. Straightforward checkout process. The location is definitely in a wooded area so we did see a fair amount of critters and spider webs outside but it was quiet and peaceful otherwise.”
