“Beautiful home, beautiful scenery. Only issue I had was with the parking it’s a shared driveway and if you are driving anything bigger than a Volkswagen you’re not going to fit on that driveway or in the garage cause the neighbor parks right across the entrance to your garage you would have to do a three-point turn to get out of the garage past his truck! We felt uncomfortable trying to park rental cars in that situation, so we parked our 3 vehicles on the street and I might mention when we arrived, we thought we were parked where we would not be in his way, but he still knocked on the door and told us to move the car which we did immediately, just giving heads up so you don’t run into that situation you might as well just park on the street.”

“Fun location. Walkable to the beach, which is a great perk. Also walkable to Marianne’s ice cream shop, also a great perk! The house has a view of the ocean and served our family well. Nice kitchen and living room space. Overall great for a family in a great location!”

“Great location for walking around Capitola or driving to neighboring cities. The unit was comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. We enjoyed coffee in the AM and had a full size kitchen at our disposal. plenty of seating and dining space. Toilet and shower are in separate spaces, which makes it convenient for multiple guests to share the same space without bathroom traffic.”

“The location of this property was absolutely outstanding. You could walk to the boardwalk, restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed getting a cup of coffee at Ideal every morning because it was close and the coffee was outstanding. Because of the townhome’s location, you will experience a bit of road noise and the bustling of the streets, but the location and everything walkable by far outweighed any of the negatives. The pool and spa were great in the evenings to enjoy and the beds were very comfortable. We greatly enjoyed our stay here.”

“Great location and walkable to lots of attractions, beach, restaurants and wharf. Large place with lots of stairs. A bit dated but clean. It’s was extremely hot when we were there and the cross breeze in the place wasn’t cooling it down. We needed to buy several fans to sleep there. Overall a good find for the 3 nights we were there.”

“We recently stayed at this Capitola property and found the location to be its biggest strength. You are in the heart of Capitola Village - the parking was excellent! The refrigerator, pantry space, and kitchen storage made it easy to settle in for our stay. The kitchen is well-stocked with plates, bowls, and basic cookware. Unfortunately, comfort was a significant issue for us. The beds were extremely firm—so much so that after our first night, we went to Costco and purchased a queen-size air mattress because we found the mattresses too uncomfortable to sleep on. The pillows were also quite flat and appear to be due for replacement. A few other things future guests may want to know: there are no cooking basics provided such as oil, salt, pepper, or spices, so plan to bring your own. While there is a washer and dryer available, no laundry detergent provided. No cleaning supplies for wiping down countertops or surfaces. The sheets and towels were clean, but could really use an upgrade.”
