“Nice place. Bed was comfortable. Very close to everything. Is exactly as listed. Nothing more, nothing less. I wouldn’t stay here again just because the host promised to allow me to drop refrigerated medication off early and then did not follow through. If you want early check in or late check out you have to pay extra. Very impersonal experience.”

“Great location, nice place, difficult host. This stay is best booked on the Austin Vacay .com site, as all my questions were directed to refer to the site. It took about an hour after my check in time to get the door code, and the check in/check out instructions aren’t posted on Airbnb, you have to make a separate account on the other website. If the host makes this more accessible through Airbnb it would be a much better guest experience. Additionally, our car windshield was cracked due to debris from a tree in the parking area, so I recommend steering clear of that!”

“4-star stay at a 2-star place. Place needs maintenance, lots of little broken things like the bedroom blinds and lights. Bathroom was dirty on arrival but host was good about getting a cleaner to come re-clean. Host was very responsive about our little issues which was nice. Place served its purpose to get us to and from downtown Austin with proximity to bus stops. Washer/dryer in unit was very nice.”

“Owners were nice. There was a terrible smell of piss throughout the house. It would get worse when you lowered the AC or when the AC would go on. There was weird and nasty stains all over the walls and floors. The showers need to be scrubbed as well. Unfortunately would not recommend this place as a place to stay.”

“Places like this honestly disappoint me and this is probably the last AirBnB I will rent. The good reviews do not make sense to me. You can tell this place was very cheaply flipped and everything in the rental is from a discount store. Here are some notes I made throughout the week. -internet is terrible. Cannot stream anything on the tv and be on your phone at the same time. Property Management/Owner: Please spend the money on some better internet. -the tv remote has to be from Dollar Tree. It was the cheapest piece of plastic -Needs tv’s in at least one, but probably both bedrooms. -Needs window shades downstairs for privacy and glare on the tv -plug in nightlights, especially in bathrooms are needed -tissues please -get rid of the commercial paper towels and toilet paper. At least use Costco -get rid of the softsoft please. -3000 kelvin lightbulbs maximum in bathrooms. -a lamp or 2 and some blankets in the living room would really warm up the space.”

“Pros - Great location to access downtown - Amenities at the apartment are great - pool and gym etc - Parking and check in super easy - gated secure location Cons - The photos are not an accurate description, the apartment is a lot older and darker than it looks - The couch belongs in a frat house or the trash - the floor was dirty when we arrived (the host did arrange for this to be cleaned during the stay which I do appreciate)”

“It’s okay, almost seemed like description was for another place. Would not book for more than a couple, even though it advertises 4 people.”

“Upon arrival, I was given incorrect codes for entry, as well as incorrect codes for the wifi access. When i went to use the bathroom, I noticed the toilet was dirty on the seat, and had not been cleaned. On the second day of my stay, a city worker knocked on the door, and asked if I was a tenant. To which i informed them i was at my airbnb, he then informed me that the airbnb was not licensed and that is was not permitted to operate as one and that he needed to get ahold of the person who i had contacted for the unit. This made me feel unsafe, and nervous that at any moment I could be kicked out of the unit due to a lack of licensing. I was told to put the dishes in the dish washer upon leaving, but there was no dish machine in the unit. I then washed the dishes by hand, and as i was doing this the sink began to fill with water, and would not drain. Tried to use the garbage disposal to help the water drain, but the garbage disposal did not work either.”

“Initially walked in to see a what looked like a clean place but then saw a very large but very dead roach on the floor. Looked like it had been dead for days which made me worry about how often they check or clean empty units. Although i was a bit unnerved, I tossed it since it was dead, thanking god i checked it before my family got there. Upon re entering the same toom i saw another very large, very alive roach walking across the bed. It disappeared before I could grab my phone. We did not stay here and found other accommodations. We were not refunded.”

“Cockroaches in the place. Photos don’t accurately match to what it is. We had to go to stay in the hotel and didn’t stay one night there. Has potential but needs a good clean”
