“The cabin was nice, but I noticed a white crusty stain on a throw blanket I was using and that told me it didn't get washed. The faux fur comforter wasn't comfortable and didnt feel clean. The hot tub reeks of mildew. I really didn't want to use it but my daughter begged. Our swimsuits still stink after washing them. Definitely need to do a better job at maintaining it.”

“Our stay was exceptional. The cabin was cute and in a quiet location. The only complaints that I have are that they use a generalized instructions for every property that include amenities that might not be available to the property you stay at. We expected laundry on site considering we stayed for a week and came from another property the week prior so we were at the tail end of our vacation but got there only to realize we had to do laundry at the laundry mat (never mentioned by the host). Additionally, there was minimal cookware (1 small pan for cooking) and the knives were a mixed, incomplete set that were all very dull. Lastly, the bed was far from comfortable, we had to turn the mattress around which slightly helped but you could tell it's either very cheap spring mattress or very old. I don't mean to write this to turn anyone away but more so to give a realistic expectation. It was in a great location, the hosts responded quickly and overall it was clean, cute and quiet.”

“The house was clean, nice furnishings, and a great view. However, only providing one roll of toilet paper, no tissues, minimal dish washing soap, and no sponge to clean dishes was cheap.”

“Pros: Quiet area, great views, fairly close to downtown Gatlinburg and The Great Smoky Mountains Park. We did have a bear wander by the cabin one evening. The hot tub is very nice. Cons: No storage in bedroom loft, VERY limited supplies provide (1 roll of TP per bathroom supposed to be provided, only one had a roll. 1 roll of paper towels, a couple trash bags). BE AWARE…the sun pounds on the big cabin windows from early morning until mid-day. There are no curtains/shades. The living area gets very warm and the A/C has a hard time keeping up (this was Oct and only low 80°). You WILL be woken up by the sunrise…there is no way to block the rising sun from the loft bed. Can’t imagine in the heat of the summer!!”

“Overall, great place to stay and really close to downtown Gatlinburg! The only thing I’d say negatively is that the beds were very hard and not my personal preference. It was also a little inconvenient to have to bring our own toilet paper, paper towels, and hairdryer. Like I said, all minor inconveniences and personal preferences, but something to note!”

“This is a BASIC dirty cabin. No welcoming feeling. It is old & needs work! It is FALSE that it’s an easy drive! Theres so many little things my review wasn’t allowed due to length. Look me up on the socials I’ll tell you everything! Don’t rent without hearing me out! Lorina Hoyle McCreary”

“We enjoyed our stay at "Got Moose" . The cabin was away from the business of the tourist areas downtown, but the other cabins were fairly close to us. Overall, the cabin was neat and comfortable. I recommend that the windows receive a thorough cleaning soon. The camp road up to the cabin is a little unnerving and takes some getting used to. Unfortunately, we did not see one bear during our trip to Tennessee. So disappointed about that.”

“The family enjoyed seeing the bears and having a private, spacious cabin. They were all disappointed to find out the tvs in the bedrooms were all DVDs and no cable or WiFi to watch. The only tv to the cable was in the living room. The drive was much steeper than expected, and we had trouble locating the cabin since the location didn’t match the GPS. Overall it was a fair place, however, the extremely steep drive was nerve wracking. Would not recommend if you have a fear of heights when it comes to the steep, narrow location.”

“I felt it was older than I hoped . The front porch was clean but spider webs everywhere they should power wash them away . I wanted a chair on front porch to watch for bears . They should add some . Beds are hard and pool table was old .”

“There was an envelope for a tip on counter but bed sheets had blood and mold it was so disgusting; manager never called, we had to chase her down...we got our money back but was only given 1 hour to leave the place, we had paid plans so we had to change everything around and rush there to leave, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE”
