“I originally booked this Airbnb for 5 weeks. After a change of plans, I asked the host if I could change the checkout date and receive a refund. He said yes, no problem. I would automatically be refunded for the unused 19 nights. After I changed the checkout date, I never received a refund and he played dumb when I asked about it. I had to get Airbnb Support involved in order to get my money back, and even then I didn't the full amount. The house itself is a mess. The carpet is disgusting. The swamp in the backyard is a breeding ground for mosquitoes. There are stains on the ceiling and walls from water damage. By far the worst Airbnb I've ever stayed at. I highly recommend you look elsewhere.”

“Dishwasher leaks, squirrel problem in fireplace random times during the day sometimes in the middle of the night. Slow communication, overpriced”

“I kind of just felt like I was checking in with a person my entire stay, when I got there maintenance was still there without any warning and I had children with me. I made mention about a leg of the couch being broken and it cause other strangers to be in the house while I wasn’t there. A bunch of updates that I didn’t want the responsibility of. The back window could definitely use a blind of some sort. Anyone could look in and see what a family is doing. Could use some updates. Bedrooms & bathroom where clean”

“This place was okay. Had a weekend with family to send off a college freshman and attend a funeral. This house was extremely too hot. When we got there it was 84° on the thermostat. Once chatting with Mike we were able to unlock the thermostat and turn the heat off and the a/c on. The heat was unbearable. He stated that the entire unit needed to be replaced which seemed like a previous problem. He also was sending me the wrong messages while chatting with other customers at his other properties with issues. Seems like there was a lot of issues with each property by this owner. I don’t think anyone had rented this place in a while with all the dust and spiderwebs. We ended our weekend at a hotel instead. Was going to extend happy we did not. I don’t think I’ll be using Airbnb for a while. Totally unpleased. In hot GA 90° plus weather the least we could’ve had for our stay was air conditioning.”

“Unfortunately, this stay fell well short of what should be expected from a properly maintained rental. The house is old and shows clear signs of long-term neglect. Kitchen cabinet doors were broken or misaligned and wouldn’t close. The dishwasher had a strong odor, the washing machine had visible mold and grime, and the dryer’s lint filter was filthy. None of these appliances seemed to have been serviced in a long time. The sink has no garbage disposal, and the fridge’s water filter was expired. Interior cleaning was questionable, and the exterior hadn’t been cleaned at all. There was a moldy smell throughout several rooms. Most concerning: we found large spiders and webs on the porch and inside on the kitchen window, plus yellow jackets (wasps) flying inside the house, a real safety risk for kids and pets. No evidence of recent pest control. We would not recommend staying here until these issues are resolved.”

“If you like bugs, you've found the right place. Flying cockroaches, spiders, gnats, centipedes and an infestation of very tiny black bugs my son googled that said they live on mold, bacteria and fungus. The furniture was stained and honestly I didn't want to sit on it. So I contacted Mike and his response was he could have housekeeping come by while we were there. We didn't want them invading our stay and that should have been done prior. As far as the bug problem, he said there was bug spray under the sink. Most Airbnb's will leave some complimentary items such as a few bottled waters, granola bars, K-cups and at least tissues. Nothing in the fridge. Then they want us to wash our towels, do the dishes and take the trash to the street. I think that should be included in the housekeeping fee I paid. This place was a disaster with unfinished repairs and the attempted repairs were very poorly done. I feel Mike should have worked with me to make things a little right.”

“I was very disappointed in this location! On the first day I noticed bed sheets had hair and seem like there was some pet hair as well on the bed. All the air wick were empty. Day 3-sewer backed up in the tub, toilet and sink. Upon reaching out to the owner I was being guided to do plumbing works. Finally, I was told that a plumber wasn’t getting to the place until later therefore I was advised to checkout one day early which I hadn’t planned for. I don’t complain usually but I really had an unpleasant time at this place and I should be reimbursed for half my stay. This place fells like this is someone’s living space and wanted to make quick bucks over the 4 days. I don’t recommend this place.”

“The host requests too many instructions for guests for an extremely early checkout at 10 am. The place was dusty and full of spider webs and a mold smell. I assumed this property was in the heart of f Henry County, however, this property is at the edge of Henry County not Stockbridge or McDonough, nor Griffin. Family was not pleased with this stay at all. Stick with the five star properties.”

“This unadvertised tiny home caused me to review the listing to make sure I was in the right spot. The blinds in most of the windows were torn by some owner or some pet, they had done almost nothing to the outside of the home, the driveway barely exists with chunks of concrete sticking up, you're on a dead end street w/ some businesses, the pet dandruff & smell in the place killed my allergies to the point that I bought & left glade plugins & purchased my own allergin spray. The backyard is unfenced but shares a neighbor's barbed wire fencing, has broken pieces of fencing & cinderblock laying around, & also has poison ivy and oak everywhere. I personally have had & have left many great reviews. The host has done the bare minimum to charge a premium which makes me question the validity of his reviews. Mike's todo list with exiting is why people choose hotels. And his messaging about being a small biz please be kind is eyerolling. They're just cheap. It's 'liveable'2/5.”
