“The cabin was the perfect place to stay for a relaxing vacation. The house was so clean and spacious. The surroundings were gorgeous. We got to see lots of wildlife from the giant wrap around patio. We even saw a beautiful black bear in the evenings! Pete and Shane were excellent hosts and always responded when needed. We will definitely book here again!”

“Peaceful perfection! Peter & Shane were the most wonderful, accommodating hosts & there are no words great enough to describe their beautiful home & surrounding property. It was easy to call their cabin ‘home’ with their fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room & porch. No detail or expense was spared in this cabin, everything was topnotch. We loved our stay & our only complaint is that we couldnt stay longer. We cant wait to come back & would not consider staying anywhere else.”

“What a wonderful girls’ getaway! We enjoyed Asheville and the surrounding areas tremendously. What made it even more special was coming “home” to The Sunshine Cabin. The pictures most definitely do not give it justice. The cabin has warm and inviting feel. It’s comfortable. Pride is taken in cleanliness, and it shows. Mornings on the porch with coffee, and relaxing evenings on the porch laughing at the days’ adventures were perfect. We saw various wildlife, which was amazing. Jeremiah, the bullfrog, always joined in on our conversations. It is obvious that a lot of love and effort have been put into the cabin. Pete and Shane are incredible hosts! They are close and can help out in a minute. Communication was superb. A big thank you to Pete and Shane. We had a fabulous time.”

“This place is fantastic. Beautiful cabin and property. Secluded but close to lots of activities, restaurants and stores. Extremely clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Very dog-friendly - they had poop bags available, some treats, a water dish, food bowl, towels on the porch to wipe your dogs feet and even a big crate setup in the living room for us. Would give Pete, Shane and their property 10 stars if I could.”

“Peter’s cabin was amazing and exactly as advertised! Beautiful views, private location, responsive and proactive communication. Sparkling clean and “luxury” really described the place accurately. We had a wonderful girls trip weekend stay and would highly recommend anyone else staying at these cabins! Excellent amenities and well stocked kitchen. Easy access to downtown as well as hikes and other nature sites in the area.”

“We had a great stay here! The hosts provided helpful information with check-in, the house was clean and had everything we needed. They provided a pack-n-play with a mattress and a booster seat for my almost 1 year old, which was great. The hot tub and fire pit were very nice! We also enjoyed the proximity to great food spots as well as downtown Asheville and the airport. We really appreciated the care and attention put into this property and would return again.”

“My wife and I as well as our dog had a wonderful 5 night stay. The home is in such a peaceful setting. Peter and Shane were fantastic. We like how Shane was there to give us a quick tour and make sure everything was up to par, which it was. The house looked exactly as the photos online. We loved spending time on the wrap around porch. The rockers were we began our day and ended it before retreating to such a comfortable bed. They thought of everything, from the well stocked kitchen to the thoughtfulness for our dog. Last and surely not least, the house was so clean. Book your stay here to be within an easy drive of downtown Asheville and the other mountain towns. You will not regret it.”

“Our stay at Peter and his brother’s cabin was absolutely perfect. I honestly don’t think I could have designed a better cabin myself. Every detail was so thoughtfully planned, and you can tell this isn’t just a rental to them, it’s something they truly care about. The cabin had everything we could possibly need, and then some. It was incredibly comfortable, beautifully maintained, and one of the most dog-friendly places we’ve ever stayed. Traveling with our pugs can sometimes be challenging, but they had thought of everything to make both us and our dogs feel at home. After a long trip, spending nine days here was exactly what we needed. It was peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect place to unwind. The only downside was having to leave. I genuinely wish we could have stayed longer. Peter, his brother, and their family have created something really special. Their hospitality and attention to detail shine through in every aspect of the property. We can’t wait to book again!!”
