“We booked this house in January 2026 & later requested to move our trip back by one week. The date change request was approved, so we had every reason to believe everything was handled correctly. Over six months later & only 2 weeks before our vacation, I received an email from Justin Peterson saying our date change from SIX MONTHS AGO was never actually processed, and the house had been booked by someone else. How does something like that even happen? Six months went by without anyone catching this mistake, left scrambling to find another place to stay two weeks before our trip. That’s beyond unprofessional, completely unacceptable. I’ve used Airbnb for years & have never dealt with a host or property management company this incompetent. I would absolutely not recommend booking with Ascendia Group. If you do, don’t assume that an approved date change actually means your reservation was updated. Apparently, you have to double-check their work. I will never book with them again. Beware.”

“Great home! Short walking distance to the village with the kids. It was great going from house to pool everyday. Beach access is about 5 minutes of driving away. We really enjoyed it! Very comfy beds and relaxing areas. We even had some wildlife visit us for dinner, a few blue herons. Was beautiful!”

“Our condo experience was overall good. It was extremely clean and well stocked. The a/c in the master bedroom was almost non existent. Management must have been aware as there was a box fan in the closet that we definitely used. The TV in the master bedroom was extremely small for the size of the room. My daughter and grandson were stuck in the elevators for at least a half an hour and they were broken down for over half the day. Management said they were very sorry for the inconvenience but didn’t offer any compensation.”

“Such a fun place! Pool was awesome. Half mile walk to village and a little further to beach access. Tons of beach umbrellas, noddles, chairs, towels etc.”

“The check in was difficult. There were no simple instructions, and when Ascendia were called on a Monday afternoon at 3pm no one answered. The WiFi name and password were impossible to find. The office on site was unmanned.”

“Nice location, however it is very dirty. I am not sure the last time the floors were cleaned, the umbrella for the beach was broken so were the beach chairs. There were no spices in the kitchen, no salt and pepper, the knives were very dull, and barely any toilet paper, soap. The was a nice cart for all the broken chairs and so that was helpful.”

“Great location, close to shops and restaurants, renovation was well done, comfortable beds, kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and convenient parking for two vehicle. Not the greatest value for the price: heat for pool cost extra (inoperable during our stay), super cheap toilet paper, many fan/light remotes didn’t work. Communications a bit impersonal unlike a superhost.”

“was a great little getaway, might want to look into getting a better water heater, hot water was only hot for the first person to shower then everyone else had a cold shower. closet door where games were stored wasn't on properly, fell off the track every time you opened it and was that way when we got to the house. over all good enough for a sunny getaways”
