“Great location! The apartment at Avalon Studio City was immaculate and had everything I needed to make myself at home. It was incredibly quiet, especially at night, and the bed was super comfy. The location is perfect—right next to everything from grocery stores to great takeout options. I truly felt like a local! It's just a short walk or a quick ride on a Lime bike to the Metro station. From there, it's only one stop to Hollywood Boulevard, with easy transit connections down to Downtown LA. The hosts were wonderful—always available when required, and any minor issues I had were dealt with immediately. I can’t recommend this place enough!”

“The location, amenities and the apartment was lovely. A really great space to come home to after work. Especially trader joes right downstairs! The only reason I gave this 4 stars was that I had a few things not working in the apartment. When I contacted the host via text message, they were very slow at getting back to me about confirmation of when someone was going to come in and fix the things. The light never got fixed and it took me to walk down to the leasing department and ask to get the dishwasher fixed for someone to come up and fix it. When I asked the maintenance guy when was the last request made for the dishwasher it was only when I went to the leasing department. There was no request from this host. Also, it was a bit of a maze trying to find my parking spot in a never ending underground parking garage as well as trying to get the door codes to work initially. Once I figured it out it was fine, but definitely took me asking tenants that lives there.”

“We booked this place for a month so my parents could stay nearby after our second child was born — we live in Mission Bay, and the location couldn't have been better for that. The unit is clearly built with remote workers in mind, and it delivers on that: a proper standing desk, Yeti mic, external monitor, and keyboard. If you're working from here, you're set. The bedroom and bathroom were equally well appointed. The kitchen has the basics covered, but you'll find it lacking if you're planning to cook a lot — we ended up requesting a few everyday items like kitchen towels and a peeler. Worth knowing if meals are a big part of your stay. Overall a solid option for a month in Mission Bay, especially for a work-focused stay.”
