“Nice place with a great location and an amazing partial ocean view from the patio 👍 The amenities were excellent, the landscaping was beautiful, and the pools were perfect for the kids. One small concern was a slight smell of dampness in the unit. Other than that, we had a great stay and felt it was excellent value for the money.”

“Jill's place at Honua Kai was great for our family. The unit was fully stocked with everything we needed to make ourselves at home. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook meals and grill. The washer and dryer also came in very handy for clean clothes. The kids loved the pools and enjoyed the beach. We were able to even see a few turtles right from the beach! Would def stay again next time we go to Maui.”

“We had a great experience. Check-in was easy; the owners were quick to respond to our questions (some of which were already answered, but I just missed). The condo was perfect for our family. The beach equipment was appreciated, and we used the chairs and boogie boards everyday. I'm glad we brought water shoes as the shoreline is a little rocky, which makes for great snorkeling but helpful to have shoes for water-wading. The room was clean, had all the necessary supplies, and easy to get to. The parking garage usually had plenty of spots available, only late at night was difficult, but there's extra parking outside and valet, so it was never an issue. Plenty of restaurants and a grocery store are in walking distance. The pools were nice and all looked clean. Towels were easily accessible. I'd highly recommend a stay here. Hoping we'll be able to return one day. Also, get the Hula Pie at Duke's, you won't regret it 😉”

“We loved our space for our summer vacation! It had everything we needed and more! The location was perfect, the resort is honestly the best for families! The restaurant was great and it’s close by many other things! This is a great place and we would 10/10 recommend it to anyone wanting to have a comfortable, relaxing vacation! Thank you again!”

“The condo was just as described and shown in photos. Jill was very responsive, and the condo guide provided for guests answered valuable questions. There were many options if we needed assistance, which wasn’t needed since everything worked great. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants, beaches, parks and small local shops. I would recommend the location to friends and family.”

“We loved our stay and the condo at Papakea Resort was great. The hosts provided good instructions and were proactive and responsive to communications. The condo was super clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. One of our requirements with two teens was two bedrooms and 3 beds. The lanai provided a great view of the ocean and property and was a nice place to eat or read a book. The resort is well maintained and every employee we encountered was nice. The beach is just a short walk to either side of Papakea but we went always went to the left beach. It was never crowded (late June/early July) and we swam and snorkeled there. The streets around Papakea are very walkable with food trucks, coffee shops, and more closeby. The Kaanapali beach walk is not far and once you find it, the trail is great for walking or running. Our favorite beach for swimming and snorkeling was Airport Beach, just a short drive. We loved that the hosts had beach chairs, an umbrella, and cooler to use.”
