“The house was just like the pictures, and very clean. It was very very basic though. My only complaint would be the lack of extras. There was no blankets in the living room to get comfortable with. There was also no grille lighter and absolutely nothing in the kitchen. We even had to buy salt. After staying in several airbnb's at similar price ranges, i expected a little bit more.”

“Disappointed in the condition of the sofa. It was a leather sofa and it was worn and torn on one whole side. We had asked for them to come clean the pool and they said they were scheduled to be cleaned on a Wednesday and they never came. When I contacted Anna Maria life they said oh they changed it to Friday. Multiple light bulbs were out around the house we had to call. Maintenance was excellent. He came out right away. Fixed the light bulbs. Our second to last day the fuse blew for the kitchen counter for the coffee maker and the toaster so we had to just move them to another counter. No big deal. But there was no way for us to get to them to fix them because the garage was locked which we understand why they lock it. That's their personal belongings. But I do have to say the house is big. It's a fooler on the outside. We would stay there again all in all it was a great house for the seven of us.”

“Stayed here last year so we came back(see prev review). Upon arrival(July 4th), pool was filthy. Algae growing. Maintenance came 2 diff days to try to clean the pool but it needed a professional company to fix. Company came Fri after we’ve stayed there all week. Pathetic. My daughter ended up with a double ear infection!! Now let’s get into the cockroaches!!! Husband found a huge cockroach in the living room Sunday night but didn’t tell me til Monday. I immediately contacted the rental company. Maintenance came Tuesday, brought up the pool as well as the roaches. Multiple cockroaches in all stages of life were discovered. They didn’t offer anything except to spray outside. They sprayed Tuesday. I followed up Tuesday afternoon to see about spraying the inside where the roaches are living. They didn’t come til Wednesday afternoon to spray inside. Cockroaches ALIVE the day we left. GROSS. Anna Maria offered $400 refund. Airbnb $680.88 total refund for our trip. 0/5 stars. NEVER AGAIN!!!”

“Everything was terrible. Everything was falling apart, and now they are demanding money for it. The dishes were in horrible condition, there were not enough dishes, the place was dirty, the pool was dirty, and everything was covered in dust. There was already a hole in the fence before we arrived. Now they are demanding money from us for these things.”

“I liked everything, everything was good, there are a few comments, such as: there were no paper towels, minimal spices, only one roll of toilet paper, and they didn't take out the garbage, but otherwise everything was great.”

“This home looks exactly like the pictures. It was cute and the location couldn’t be better for what we were looking for. It was inconvenient for our vacation to pay what we did for this stay and not get hand soap in the kitchen or enough toilet paper or paper towels. I think I would rather pay the extra $5 so they could buy some. It seems the cleaning people they use take everything other guests leave behind because there was not even salt and pepper at this house to cook eggs with. House was amazing, amenities were surely not for the price.”

“We found Beauty and the Beach to be very clean however there was nothing for extras, we had to buy paper towels, toilet paper, spices, salt and pepper, sugar, coffee filters, plastic bags, foil, garbage bags, dish soap, bar soap, there were only 2 dish washer pods and 2 clothes pods, ( we were there for a week) We have stayed at many air b&b's this one by far was very disappointing. We have spent less and had better.”
