“we had a great time at pineapple cay! the walk to the beach was short. the pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing and the house was well stocked. it felt like home from minute one! can’t wait to come back!”

“The listing pictures need to be updated. Even the furniture in the pictures doesn’t match. Floors are withered and carpets have rips. Missing/mismatched light bulbs. Fans, disposal, bathroom all had issues. Notified host and they were quick to send someone out, but they came every day because a different part was needed or something. Small details need to be considered. AMI is great, we will certainly look at other properties next time.”

“It was really nice to be right on the beach and the apartment was as described on Airbnb, unfortunately there was construction on the second floor and they workers started their day at 6am and the air conditioner was very loud so I had to sleep in the living room. I did reach out to the rental agency and they responded right away and sent someone to look into the air conditioner and they reimbursed me for one night stay for the inconvenience of dealing with the construction workers.”

“We truly enjoyed our stay and, despite the few areas that could be improved, I felt it still deserved a 5 ⭐️ review. We saw dolphins every single day!!! There are a few details that could make the experience even better. We noticed hair and dirt on the terrace, as well as stains on the floors that made it seemed vacuumed but not properly cleaned. There are rocks immediately beyond the seawall, so accessing the beach requires crossing over the rocks. The lawn workers arrived while we were actively enjoying the outdoor space. They entered the area with very little regard for our privacy and were disruptive and careless around the space. I asked whether they could return after our departure, and their response was rude. I believe maintenance should ideally be scheduled between guests particularly at a property where privacy and enjoyment of the outdoor areas are such an important part of the experience. Other than that, we had a wonderful time, felt at home, and would happily return.”

“The house was just like the pictures, and very clean. It was very very basic though. My only complaint would be the lack of extras. There was no blankets in the living room to get comfortable with. There was also no grille lighter and absolutely nothing in the kitchen. We even had to buy salt. After staying in several airbnb's at similar price ranges, i expected a little bit more.”

“Disappointed in the condition of the sofa. It was a leather sofa and it was worn and torn on one whole side. We had asked for them to come clean the pool and they said they were scheduled to be cleaned on a Wednesday and they never came. When I contacted Anna Maria life they said oh they changed it to Friday. Multiple light bulbs were out around the house we had to call. Maintenance was excellent. He came out right away. Fixed the light bulbs. Our second to last day the fuse blew for the kitchen counter for the coffee maker and the toaster so we had to just move them to another counter. No big deal. But there was no way for us to get to them to fix them because the garage was locked which we understand why they lock it. That's their personal belongings. But I do have to say the house is big. It's a fooler on the outside. We would stay there again all in all it was a great house for the seven of us.”

“Stayed here last year so we came back(see prev review). Upon arrival(July 4th), pool was filthy. Algae growing. Maintenance came 2 diff days to try to clean the pool but it needed a professional company to fix. Company came Fri after we’ve stayed there all week. Pathetic. My daughter ended up with a double ear infection!! Now let’s get into the cockroaches!!! Husband found a huge cockroach in the living room Sunday night but didn’t tell me til Monday. I immediately contacted the rental company. Maintenance came Tuesday, brought up the pool as well as the roaches. Multiple cockroaches in all stages of life were discovered. They didn’t offer anything except to spray outside. They sprayed Tuesday. I followed up Tuesday afternoon to see about spraying the inside where the roaches are living. They didn’t come til Wednesday afternoon to spray inside. Cockroaches ALIVE the day we left. GROSS. Anna Maria offered $400 refund. Airbnb $680.88 total refund for our trip. 0/5 stars. NEVER AGAIN!!!”

“Everything was terrible. Everything was falling apart, and now they are demanding money for it. The dishes were in horrible condition, there were not enough dishes, the place was dirty, the pool was dirty, and everything was covered in dust. There was already a hole in the fence before we arrived. Now they are demanding money from us for these things.”
