Anchorage Rentals
4.62Visit website
Anchorage Rentals's guest rating of 4.62 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Place is great as described and shown in photos. Checkin and checkout are an hour short, also key fobs required to be picked up from a diff location which is 30 minutes away”airbnb

“Overall, the condo was nice and comfortable, and having the beach directly across the street was very convenient. Unfortunately, our experience with some of the people around the property took away from our stay. There were lots of rules, and several individuals who appeared to be property owners came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming to vacation renters. Our group consisted of a mother in her 40s and her three adult daughters, ranging in age from 19 to 24, and we often felt uncomfortable due to the lack of balcony privacy and the frequent staring in our direction, which made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy our vacation. We also had an unfriendly interaction with a man who identified himself as being involved with grounds maintenance. This property may be a great fit for young families or older visitors looking for a very quiet environment. However, based on our experience, we would not choose to stay here again.”airbnb

“The over location and place was nice. However, The kitchen counter and dining room table were dirty. They did not provide toilet tissue and what was there had been used. No trash bags were provided. I asked but told we needed to provide everything. A bag of dirty laundry sat outside our door the whole time we were there. The maintenance guy let himself in while we were getting dressed for the beach. I felt uncomfortable the whole time due to that situation.”airbnb

“Over all I was very pleased with everything but was not notified that the indoor pool and lazy river would not be usable I was very disappointed with that and should have notified and price adjusted for that.”airbnb

““The stay was very disappointing. The location was hard to find, and the biggest issue was communication. The owner never replied to my messages on Airbnb and never sent the code to access the room, which made check-in stressful and frustrating. Once inside, there were several cleanliness and maintenance issues. The bathroom had a moldy smell, gnats were flying around while I was lying down, and the Wi-Fi password provided did not work. When I lifted the toilet seat, it was loose. I also pulled out the couch in the front room and found trash in the chair, and there was a bottle left behind the dresser. I feel that with better communication, some of these issues could have been addressed during my stay. Unfortunately, I never received a response, which made the experience much more frustrating than it needed to be.””airbnb

“The room was great, but the parking was awful. Plus when we went, we were told the pools inside would be open and they were all closed due to construction. We spent the whole week without swimming. We also left a sweatshirt in a dresser in one of the rooms that we know for a fact was in the dresser. We were told a week later after we’ve been trying to find out where it is that there was no sweatshirt found in the unit so someone stole it. The dishwasher looks like it’s melted and there’s a lot of little maintenance issues throughout the room and the communication was not the best.”airbnb

“No tv or internet for first 3 days. This was known by owner before renting. It was resolved on 4th day by replacing equipment. There was no attempt to adjust rental amount to compensate for renting unit knowing there was a problem. Stay was good otherwise.”airbnb

“Overall pleased with our stay. Great location! This was a first time staying at management company owned rental and there is such a difference when booking with a company owned vs individually owned properties. Things like extra blankets, games, cupboard staples, etc were not included which was clearly stated but just something to consider when booking. Communication was also not great. We had trouble getting into condo and called number and never received a phone call back. Thank goodness we were able to figure the lock out I guess!”airbnb

“We were provided wrong lock/entrance code- which was a frustrating way to start trip. Minimal supplies- no stock of paper towels, kleenex (none, no additional tp. Very basic. Beach was clean and beautiful- relaxing.”airbnb

“I rented this property on March 6. The property was very clean and quick access to the beach. However there housekeeping are not honest people. I left a pair of slippers and some new beach towels in the room and went back to get them. It was a mother and a daughter cleaning the room before I could even begin to asked the daughter about the slippers she began to describe the to me and said yes. She called her mother speaking in another language she begin to tell her mother what I was looking for. The mother looks at me and say she didn’t find anything and refused to give me my items that were left in the room. I understand that I left them but she should not have lied when I knew for a fact that I left the bag in the room. I will not be staying at this location again. Their house keeping will not return your items to you.”airbnb
