Anchor Realty Group's guest rating of 4.52 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Our stay in this incredible house was a blast. From the moment we drove into the beautiful Croatan neighborhood we knew it was going to be a good weekend. The house surpassed the photos. The bedrooms are well laid out with enough space between for privacy. Bathrooms on each floor was a simple thing that makes a stay comfortable. The kitchen is full of everything you could possibly need with a nice grill by the pool. There are labels on each light switch. Something I had not seen before and found incredibly useful! The location couldn't be better. The beach is a two minute walk. The nightlife and restaurants are a five minute Uber ride. The aquarium and sky trail are the same distance. Overall it exceeded our expectations and was less expensive per person than a hotel. This is the place to stay in Virginia Beach!”airbnb

“We enjoyed staying at this property. We ran into a couple hiccups (A/C not working when we arrived, owner wanting to host showings during our stay, etc), but the management company accommodated us very well and worked with us on everything. We felt we were treated extremely well in the circumstances. The area has good access to restaurants and bars, and is a quick drive to downtown Norfolk, which we enjoyed. Also only a 6 minute drive to East Beach. Thank you, especially to the great management company used for this property, for being so helpful!”airbnb

“The place was beautiful. Right across the street from the beach. Walking distance from a lot of activities ( food , arcade, etc). Would definitely recommend for family or friends beach trip.”airbnb

“Great location! Close to everything in the oceanfront. When I checked in, it was very obvious cleaners do the minimum. Heavy dust on top of most horizontal surfaces including the ceiling fans. Heavy dust under the beds. I reached out to the host. After a couple of back and forth, they sent the cleaner(s) back over. After the “cleaning” was completed, I checked their work. Not sure what the cleaners did, but I had to go through and clean multiple areas, including the ceiling fans. Very unacceptable!! The space was large enough for a single person. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had all utensils, plates, bowls, ect. Living room furniture needs updating. Communication with host was inconsistent. There were a couples incidents when a response to an inquiry took several days. I would give this overall condo/and my experience a 3 out of 5 stars.”airbnb

“Great location and overall a good stay for the price. The property is about a block from the beach and within easy walking distance of restaurants and other spots nearby, which was a huge plus for our family. That said, the stay had some drawbacks. Parking was tight, though manageable. The unit also felt smaller than it appeared in the photos. The biggest issue was cleanliness, with noticeable dust buildup under the bed and around the blinds. It also lacked some basic supplies we expected, such as extra trash bags, dish soap, cooking oil, salt, condiments, and better-quality toilet paper. To their credit, the host did kindly drop off some of these basic items at our doorstep after we reached out, which we appreciated. Communication was a little inconsistent, but they were ultimately responsive and respectful when we needed them. Overall, it was a decent and affordable place in an excellent location, but not quite a great stay. You get what you pay for.”airbnb

“Place was very nicely decorated. Actually better than the photos but I assume that being Matthew is a new owner and in the process of updating the units the photos have yet to be updated. The bedrooms were a good size and lovely colors. Nice that it had four televisions and everything worked perfectly. Just a few minutes walk to the boardwalk and the beach which was nice so that you do not have to drive. The owner reached out to me whilst I was there to welcome me and my two sons which was nice. Thank you.”airbnb

“I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and made the whole process smooth and easy. The location was convenient, and everything we needed was provided. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!”airbnb

“Overall, the location of the property is great and very convenient, especially being so close to the boardwalk. However, our experience was not a 5-star stay. The condition of the property could be improved, particularly the cleanliness. The floors were not as clean as expected, and there were no proper cleaning supplies available during our stay. There was also an unusual odor in the lower level, which affected the overall comfort. Additionally, we were later asked to pay for replacing a carpet, which we believe is unfair. Being so close to the beach, some level of sand and normal wear is expected, especially in a small space where it is difficult to avoid. This was not damage, but normal use. In a beach property, it would be more practical to use materials that are easier to maintain rather than carpets. We are experienced Airbnb guests with many stays, and we always respect house rules and take care of the properties we stay in. It was disappointing that concerns raised were not”airbnb

“When we checkede in there was Fecies on the Wall next to the Toilet. The carpet needs to be stretched, because there is wrinkles in the Carpet. It is unsafe for elderly people that could trip on the wrinkles. There is Black mold on the the Shower Curtain in the Hall Bathroom which again is unsafe for our health.”airbnb
