Anaheim Vacation House
4.72Visit website
Anaheim Vacation House's guest rating of 4.72 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The property was decent, but I did not enjoy my stay because there were too many unnecessary rules and restrictions. Instead of feeling relaxed on vacation, it felt like I had to constantly worry about following a long list of requirements. Another major issue was the security lights, which were very bright and irritating, especially at night, making it difficult to fully relax. Future guests should carefully review all the rules before booking to make sure this property is a good fit for them.”airbnb

“Overall it was a good stay however house was extremely outdated. Bedrooms and bathrooms were extremely old. A crazy amount of dust present. Carpet had lots of stains and could tell it has never been replaced. Pack and plays were old and I found an open safety pin and bandaids in one. Good location but will not stay again”airbnb

“I was disappointed with the lack of correspondence to my inquiries after the company got my money. I have screenshots where my messages were read but no one responded to them. Also, this house could be great but it has maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Missing kitchen cabinet doors, only bathtub has a broken tub stopper so it doesn't hold water, master bathroom toilet broken our entire stay, wall patches that haven't been painted, and a few broken items. You don't feel welcome with all the rules taped to the walls with the DO NOT rules, including a $150 charge for a broken or lost television remote. There was a very heavy bleach smell in the entire home but it was so overpowering in the master bedroom it was unusable the first night. There were never an apologies for the problems, only a very rude person that said they would make a note of my concerns.”airbnb

“Good vacation home overall. Lots of space, beds were comfortable. Good bang for your buck if you’re not too picky. Multiple things throughout the house were broken & obviously not maintained. Cleanliness was overall OK. A few hairs found in the bathroom and on the carpet, and some dishes in the cupboards being sticky / dirty. Also, one of the restrooms did not have hand soap, not a big deal but usually restrooms do have hand soap. Having a curfew to be outside was a bit of a deal breaker. Didn’t get to enjoy the pool or game room much after long days out and about. Communication with the host was not the best. I was asked to book through an outside link and submit ID and etc. After this step, my information was under review for multiple days. I reached out to the host multiple times but did not receive a response until after my 3rd attempt, eventually they did get back to me, and thankfully no hiccups during check in after that.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, our experience was very uncomfortable. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were being monitored and watched. This made it hard to relax and feel at ease. There are no less than 4 cameras monitoring the exterior. We covered the patio camera with the hopes of a simple cup of coffee and a private conversation but received a text later that day that said, "Please remove whatever is covering the camera." There were so many rules and restrictions that it didn't feel welcoming or private. While the outside and yard was beautiful, the inside of the place felt dated and not well maintained. Overall we were uncomfortable enough that our family decided not to stay for the entire booking. Privacy, comfort, and feeling welcome are important when booking an Airbnb, and unfortunately, this place did not provide those things.”airbnb

“Beds were not that comfortable, to many rules. Washer wasn’t working too well. Floors needed to be cleaned closets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned. But over all it was nice”airbnb

“The listing is exactly as advertised and was very clean upon arrival. We especially loved the outdoor area—the pool, hot tub, slide, and waterfalls were a huge hit with everyone. The kitchen is also well-equipped with all the basic appliances and pans you’ll need. We appreciated the flexibility of checking in 15 minutes early, but communication with the host was difficult. I sent a message on Tuesday about the garbage cans being full when we arrived, the were taken to the curb, brought back in after picked up by someone but didn't receive a response until Sunday morning after we had already checked out the day before. Be aware that you cannot adjust the temperature in the house. The thermostat was completely locked. It was very hot the first night, so definitely use the provided box fans for sleeping. Also, the quiet hours are strictly from 10 PM to 9 AM, which was a bit of a bummer. Pro tip for future guests: the bypass button is your best friend when going in and out of the back door”airbnb

“House was great and as described. Keep in mind that check in time is literally to the minute, we got there 3 mins early and the door would not unlock until the exact check in time. Also you are not able to go out back during “quiet times” so even waking up early and wanting to enjoy coffee in the backyard is prohibited.”airbnb

“I really liked the house, it looks even worse. I had a problem with the heating of the water which brought me a malaise and it was solved but I was a long time without hot water and brought us discomfort.”airbnb

“The house was beautiful, backyard and pool area were amazing. Only thing is the rule of not being allowed outside from 10pm to 9am.. we had 5 kids who wake up at 6am so to keep them inside until 9am was a challenge. Also didn’t like that, as adults, could not use the hot tub after 10pm when the kids went to bed.”airbnb
