“We stayed here for about 2 months, and it was a good stay. The beds do not match the photos, there is currently two twin beds in the larger bedroom instead of a larger single mattress. The location is easy to get to and central for driving to different areas of Rochester. Silver Lake is across the street and a good place to go on walks! The house seems to be pet friendly as the couches have a bit of a dog smell, we did not have any pets. Overall it is a fine place and was a fine stay.”

“The queen bed in one of the bedrooms need to be replaced. The side I slept on (closest to the door) made noises every time i laid down. It has a soft spot that sagged so you felt like you were sleeping in a bowl. Not very comfortable on youy back. The lighting in the bedrooms is very dim. The wall mounted light fixtures do not illuminate the rooms very well. You have to use lamps that do not illuminate the rooms very well either. The fourth bed room is in the basement. The owner runs two humidifiers to control the humidity. The noise level is so high that one can not sleep. The bath room upstairs is well illuminated and nice. Lots of hot water. The kitchen was great. Modern appliances. The garage was great. One can park two cars in the garage. One section of the the back porch enclosure has come detached fom its vertical posts. One can see the nails. Push on it and the whole section may completely come off. This is a safety issue. One could accidently fall off the porch.”

“The home was well stocked with linens, towels, kitchens supplies. Everything you need. It was clean and nicely decorated. A home away from home. Lots of space. The dog loved the yard. We will be coming to stay again.”

“Great place, quiet neighborhood. I was doubtful we were so close to downtown when we arrived but it really was 10-15 minutes to everything we needed to get to. The deck is a perfect morning coffee sipping spot. Would stay again.”

“Cute older house. The address was super hard to see from the road because it was mostly covered by the bushy tree in front. House was clean but had an old musty smell to it. The ceilings are low so if you are taller than 5’8” don’t have the ceiling fan on in the kitchen. Laundry is downstairs in the basement. The main road it sits on is very busy and difficult to get in and out of the driveway at times. The backyard is nice but the big tree had branches hanging almost to the ground. It was nice and roomy. Super close to Mayo!”

“My wife and I booked this suite expecting a clean, comfortable place to stay for two weeks, but the conditions were unacceptable. Within our first 15 hours, we encountered multiple bugs in the bedroom, bathrooms, and kitchen. The floors had visible dust and pet hair, and the bathrooms had human hair left on the counters and in the tubs. The tubs themselves were not properly cleaned—wiping what looked like a stain lifted dirt immediately. The furniture is extremely old and offers no support. Both beds sink so badly that it’s impossible to rest comfortably. My wife is disabled and mostly bedridden, and the lack of proper support made it painful and difficult for her to settle in. The couch has the same issue—no support and difficult to get up from, comparable to a beanbag chair. The listing’s reviews were misleading and did not reflect the actual condition of the suite. Given the state of the unit and the challenges it created, we requested a full refund and left right away.”

“It is unfortunate we rented this property for 42 days and could only occupy for 23 days. Early departure was due to repeated issues with the property. When arriving the cleanliness of the home was unsatisfactory, we immediately cleaned before unpacking our belongings. The fire alarm was also hanging by wires from the ceiling. Management responded they “would have sent a cleaning crew over,” , the fire extinguisher was immediately addressed by maintenance. The property should have been cleaned PRIOR to our arrival and the fire extinguisher properly in tact. Both my husband and myself have health issues that were compromised by staying at this location. There were other issues that will require professional services to resolve. Nice house with way too many issues to be resolved. Exceptional ratings and super host is difficult for us to understand. Highly disappointed Air BNB customer”
