“Overall a great stay. We had some issues with dirt and dust in the pool and inside the house due to the high winds before and during our stay, but Lars was able to address the issues with the pool right away. There was unfortunately some dust that had collected inside of the house that seemed to be missed by the cleaning service so we had to do some light cleaning on our own to make it more comfortable. Other than that, the house was well decorated and had all of the amenities needed for a great stay. Better quality than other rental homes. Our kids enjoyed the pool, and they even had some games and books for the kids. The AC in the house worked well, which was important during our visit in the middle of June. It's also in a gated community so felt very private and safe. Overall a beautiful home, just wish there was a bit more attention from the cleaning service.”

“We love this property and love Altamira! The house is beautiful, comfortable and fully stocked. We love the pool and the gorgeous landscape and walking trails at the Desert Princess. My husband loves the driving range and went every morning. The clubhouse restaurant has an awesome happy hour with a putting green which we enjoyed on two different nights. The house stays cool and is filled with everything you need. Altamira is helpful and very responsive. We can't wait to come back!”

“The house is beautiful and exactly as it looks in the photos. The property manager was very friendly and responsive. The location is great- very private and also in walking distance to downtown Palm Springs restaurants. Minor things that could be improved: there’s hardly any space to put your luggage and clothes; only very few, small drawers. And you’re not allowed to set the a/c below 74; we were hot at night, but at least they do provide box fans in the bedrooms.”

“Loved the house and location… we have stayed at similar rentals along this street. Great time here except for a couple of hiccups.. propane bottles empty, and no dishwasher pods. Lars and friends responded promptly and these things were taken care of. The pool heat is an issue on this side of the valley. $80 a day. Indian Canyons area is half that. Mmm? It would be great to see the actual usage on a receipt. Love this area and will be back.”
