Alpine Lodging Sun Valley

“The location of the condo was awesome. We stayed in summer and it was very walkable to town as well as the River Run ski lifts. We were able to park our two cars as well (1 spot included in rental, the other in guest parking). Overall the place was clean and the downstairs en suite bathroom was renovated. They had a fancy espresso maker & purified water on tap. However this place left a lot to be desired. It advertised being a 6 person rental but was tight for my family of two adults and two teens. There was only a camping size fridge which wasn’t even turned on when we arrived. Minuscule wastebaskets & sofa only fit 2 adults or 3 squished meaning we couldn’t all comfortably watch a movie. Kitchen and dining were cramped with limited equipment for cooking; they also didn’t provide anything in the way of coffee, spices, etc. The beds upstairs were also rock hard and with scratchy sheets. The dryer was broken which they refunded me $100 for. Fine place but probably wouldn’t stay again.”

“Had a great visit! Good home base for our family of four. Great location, right by the base of warm springs and easy access to free local bus. Pool access was great. Laundry and AC would have made it even better for a hot week in the summer (but they are upfront about these amenities not being present).”

“The accommodations were very clean and decently stocked. We looked everywhere and could not find an iron, but had a travel size ironing board. There were lots of extra towels. The bed was comfortable. The front door, a sliding patio door's lock malfunctioned after 3 days, and we were unable to make the lock catch. Alpine, the host, did send someone over in about 6 hours. The repair person stated there have been issues with the lock and you have to lock it in a special way and showed us how to do it, which was difficult to make work. The stairs are quite steep, not the usual pitch. There is a stair rail. Ketchum had high temps while we were there compared to usual, the locals said. There were fans available and we also brought one as we did see there is no air conditioning. We were able to cool the condo down at night with the windows open and fans pulling in cool air. Unfortunately, due to the wildfires, no windows open our last night. Departed early.”

“This Atelier condo was perfect and the AC was the icing on the cake! Alpine Properties mentioned a digital guide book which required a confirmation number for access. This number is not the Airbnb confirmation number it is one they generate. It was very unclear how to log into it and it has all the check out information. I had to ask more than once for help to access this information before I could log in. Just a heads up…”

“The room was as described, peaceful and family-friendly. However, the Internet was horrible, with three days with no service and two nights of the Internet working only after 0200 AM. When I asked Alpine for assistance on Wednesday via text, the response was for me to turn the Wifi Box off and on - which I had already done, as well as restart my own laptop for access. When this did not work, I was told: "Unfortunately, there isnt (spelling error included) anything we can do about the wifi speed. Best regards" Having nearly no internet for our entire stay has complicated this work/vacation for my family and me, while having such a responsive, but unhelpful service, and for the text to ask about it at the end of our stay without ever having the decency to offer any resolution was asinine. Unless someone is looking for a glorified camping spot, I would not recommend Alpine for anyone who needs to continue working while away from home.”

“Checking in at another location was a little awkward. Would have been nice if the after hours lock box was at the property.”

“Great location! This was close to everything we wanted to do. Check in/out office was about 15 mins away which we thought was kind of weird. Hot tub wasn’t opened during advertised hours, and there weren’t any clean up instructions for us. Condo also was difficult to control the temperature in. But overall a nice amount of space and worked for what we wanted to do! It was a great and private area with plenty of parking and very quiet as well. Would stay here again in the future!”

“This is an Airbnb that's managed by a property manager, if you want tosign an extra lease and visit their rental office before checking in this is the place for you! (not self-check in like you might expect) once you get past that, the place is great. comfortable and nestled right along the water of a beautiful creek.”

“This condo is very nice! However, the location wasn't great due to the bridge construction on Main Street and traffic on Hwy 75 was redirected down the street this condo faces. It was very loud day and night. When we checked in after 5pm after signing everything Alpine had asked for, they left our check-in package and said they were withholding the spa key until we came in the next day with a credit card. So, we were unable to use the spa that evening after our 5 hour drive which was a big reason we booked this place. I asked for a credit to accommodate this and my request was ignored. I have never given anything less than a 5 star review on past Airbnb visits.”
