“Key pad on the front door was not working great. Took us 7 minutes just to get in. The garage door didn't work well. And no wifi. We tried to contact someone about it but only got "how can I help" told them the issue, and got nothing back. The house was amazing. Location was great.”

“This house is a gem! So much old character but with beautiful updates. Very walkable to downtown Bend. The only note I will leave is about the room with the king bed- the shades do not block much for morning sunlight. If you are sensitive to this, consider packing black garbage bags to place over the windows for a more black-out feel.”

“We loved our stay at Lisa and Victoria’s (Appenglow Rentals). The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. We were visiting friends in Bend and it was a nice place to go back to, to relax after the long days we had. The place had everything we needed. Loved all the sweet little details, chachkis, in and around the home. The kids loved running around in the big back yard and hanging/exploring on the front porch. Enjoyed turning on the fireplace and snuggling on the couch on chilly evenings. We would love to stay again next time we visit Bend.”

“Great location! Safe roads and walkable to everything we had planned. Kid friendly - we had a baby and toddler and the master had plenty of room for our sleeping arrangement. Clean, working appliances, etc. everything you can ask for. The owners proactively sent the key instructions day of that were easy to follow which is always appreciated.”

“Great communication, very easy check in. A group of friends and I were all visiting for a gravel biking trip. Great access to the town and the trails. Beautiful spot. Very well equipped kitchen. The Garage space and laundry is also perfect for all the bikes and gear. Thank you!”

“We stayed here a couple weekends ago, the home matched the photos and was as expected — clean, functional, and a solid place to stay for the weekend. The biggest downside for us was the hot tub, which was quite loud and ran throughout the night. It ended up being disruptive and made it difficult to get good rest, which was especially tough since we were in town for a marathon. We also asked about a one-hour late checkout given our race timing, and unfortunately that wasn’t accommodated. We completely understand that schedules can be tight, but the communication around it felt a bit dismissive, which was disappointing. Overall, it’s a good, straightforward place to stay that aligns with the listing — just a couple of things that impacted our experience with room to improve.”
