Allura Homes's guest rating of 4.75 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Fabulous and beautiful home. So well designed and decorated. We had the best stay. The area had so many great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and shopping….all within a lovely 20 minute walk. Highly recommend.”airbnb

“The place was excellent location, walkable to beach, and great area for restaurants. It was quiet and the parking was great right in front of the door. The only issue we had was on our second night the upstairs neighbors had checked in, and you can hear footsteps/ moving furniture or luggage around, the main bedroom was also next to their garage so you will hear them closing their car doors. I would also say the couch was the main thing we seen that was dirty, there was sand & some type or debris on it, kind of grossed us out, but they provided Clorox wipes so we wiped it down with those.”airbnb

“If you’re looking for a location w/in walking distance to Mission Beach & restaurants, this is good place to stay. Keep in mind it’s small unit (knew this when renting), so you shouldn’t stay if you have more than two people. The couch isn’t a sofa bed, you sleep on the couch, but it was fine to sleep on, however, only a down comforter & bed spread were available to use for the couch. The front door was already unlocked when we arrived, only to find out the keypad wasn’t working. I messaged the mgmt company to let them know the keypad didn’t work after trying a few times. They said they would look into it. So when we left for dinner we had to leave the unit unlocked. They fixed it the night before we left but the 2 codes I was given never worked. We also tried to open the garage door & found that the keypad didn’t work either. I told the mgmt company & they said someone was coming out to fix it, but never was fixed during our stay. They were responsive whenever I would message them”airbnb

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location is definitely the biggest highlight—it’s very walkable, with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Having a dedicated parking space was also a huge plus, although it’s very tight and may be challenging for some. The biggest downside was the air conditioning. During the hotter days, it really struggled to keep up. One afternoon the temperature inside stayed above 80°F until later in the evening, and most days it had a hard time getting below 75°F. I would also keep in mind the size of the unit. We had two adults and one child, and it felt very cramped. In my opinion, it’s best suited for one or two people. That said, if your priority is being in a great, walkable location close to everything, it’s a solid choice. Just be aware of the limited space and the AC if you’re visiting during warmer weather.”airbnb

“Overall, our stay had both positives and negatives. The Mission Beach location was great, and we appreciated the washer and dryer, towels, hand soap, and other provided amenities. Unfortunately, the property was not as clean as expected. We found hair, stains, and areas that needed better cleaning, including parts of the bathroom, refrigerator, and other surfaces. The biggest issue was the shower, which made it difficult to get cool water, making showers uncomfortable after being at the beach. The bedroom also became very warm. The fan and living room A/C unit helped somewhat, but better cooling throughout the unit would make a big difference. If these issues with cleanliness, shower temperature, and cooling are addressed, this could be a much better place to stay because the location itself is excellent.”airbnb
