Ali'i Resorts's guest rating of 4.79 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Absolutely stunning ocean & mountain views. Centrally located to where nothing on the island is too far away. The bed is insanely comfortable and soft. Kitchen has everything you need. Poolside access and a gorgeous manicured lawn to play games or just relax. Farmers market is directly across the street and have many fresh options. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy our stay in Maui.”airbnb

“The condo is beachfront and has beautiful views. The beach in front is narrow. The location is miles from Kihei, but advertised as in Kihei. The condo is smaller than appeared in the photos. The "hardwood" floors are actually thin plastic vaneer. The dryer didn't work unless you turned on the shower vent. The sink didn't work unless you constantly use the the motion sensor. The condo did have good kitchen appliances and utensils. The shower was nice. The condo wasn't stocked with enough coffee filters or beach towels.”airbnb

“What a wonderful vacation spot! The view from this unit is unbelievable. Sit on the balcony in the morning, sip some coffee and enjoy the show! This is a perfect unit for four people in my opinion. Well stocked kitchen that has recently been updated. Great living space and living area. The building itself had tons of great amenities. They deep clean every outdoor barbecue daily. Unbelievable. Nice pool area. Easy access to a swim, friendly beach. But really, the balcony is the best thing. Sunsets in the afternoons are also spectacular! I would definitely return here. Really enjoyed the stay.”airbnb

“This condo was wonderful. It was right next to the beach and had all the comfort in the world. The condo was very very clean and comfortable with a beautiful Lanai to enjoy the sunset. Everything was as expected and peaceful! Highly recommended.”airbnb

“The communication from Ali’i was not good in terms of letting us know there were repairs that needed to be made to our Condo. First call to Alii upon arriving to Maui, we were told our room would be ready by 2pm. It was not, no issue if we were simply told it would not be ready until 4pm, but given we were told it will be ready by 2pm, this began frustration. Upon arriving, 2 young men were scooping and cleaning up water which was all over the floor in the kitchen. There was significant work that needed to be done which included loud drilling and cutting. What bothered us most were these 2 young men’s attitude, they mentioned multiple times that we were “throwing a fit” to their boss on the phone. The maintenance team was extremely patronizing and made us feel very uncomfortable and not welcome. Other issues like pet hair and dander upon arrival (note the listing says pet free), stains on carpet, damaged chairs. I’d recommend Coral Tree, no problems with them.”airbnb

“Condo is exactly as the photos. Well maintained with nice tropical decor throughout. Beds and bathrooms are comfortable and spacious. Location is very quiet, yet easy access to Kihei Road. Overall, this condo was exactly what I was hoping for!”airbnb

“PROS: This is our 3rd time staying at Maui Kamaole. Great for families / uncrowded beach. I stay in A unit condos due to the view. Multiple pools, bbq, and maybe a tennis court. Unit A106 has IMO the best view of all the condos we've rented here. Master has a patio with a view too, two full bathrooms. Appliances are modern. Bed was not too hard. Window A/C kept the condo cold, nightlights in the hallway. Ali'i Resorts very responsive. CONS: Ali’i Resorts violates Airbnb policy, requiring a separate checkin form requiring CC. And violates policy by price gouging missing/damaged items. Upstairs neighbors are LOUD All hours of the night. Room is lit up All hours of night due to outside lights. GIANT RED CENTIPEDE during our stay (and baby). Cleaning prior to our stay was not done well. White dog hair all over ground. (BEWARE FOR THOSE WITH ALLERGIES). Gross dirty toilet. Sand in beach chairs. Ali’i Resorts was very responsive, and offered cleaning. Quality assurance was not guaranteed.”airbnb
