4.70Visit website
Alice Lodging's guest rating of 4.70 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The railings on the top floor my toddler could fit through, so that was a safety concern. The AC units were kind of a mess. The pool was cold, the hot tub was just warm. It was definitely big enough though, and they provided baby gates to block the stairs, so that was nice. It was pretty dusty and dead bugs were noticeable. The pool wasn’t very clean. Also, we brought clean air filters, the fires are pretty bad in that area and they didn’t have any clean air filters in the home. Won’t stay here again, it was just ok.”airbnb

“The view from the deck was pretty but we had a lot of issues with this property. The house was picked up, but not cleaned. We let property managers know, they offered to come clean it and never did. Heating and cooling zones are not configured properly, so if bedroom doors are shut you’ll freeze while the rest of the house is hot. Looked like the owners are building a new house on the lower lot and they store construction materials on this property. So the bottom part of the property isn’t really usable.”airbnb

“Location is perfect and apartment is beautiful, but logistics were very challenging. For unknowable reasons I had to create an account on some other site to get the check in instructions. Then when we got to the building it turned out the code they had given me to get in was wrong. I called the number provided and it was obviously an answering service but at least someone answered at 11pm. The poor operator had to suggest several other codes from what seemed like were very unclear instructions for her as well until we finally figured out one that would work. For a moment I worried I was being scammed and there wasn't any apartment for me. Thankfully my kids had fallen asleep in the car before arrival. Also the parking garage said cars needed to display a guest permit or be towed, but the hosts said not to worry about it. I fortunately never got towed but that was in the back of my mind all weekend. So despite the great location and apartment I'm not certain I'd stay here again.”airbnb

“The house was beautiful and had everything we needed! We loved the pool and the beds were super comfy. The location was amazing! Also, be aware that on landscape days, the landscaper will just come into the backyard unannounced and start blowing leaves, etc. The instructions we were given after check in and the written instructions in the book in the house had conflicting information about which day the landscaper is supposed to come. Unfortunately, because of this, we were swimming in the pool when the landscaper walked in to the backyard and started leaf blowing. It was a bit jarring. There was other conflicting information between the instruction book and the texts we got from the manager. It really needs to be updated asap.”airbnb

“The property was a beautiful place to stay, reasonable commute to and from the venue we drove to everyday. The price for during festival season was very reasonable and I would consider staying here again. I really appreciated the responsiveness once our reservation started. Three critiques I did have however: 1. The dishwasher did not work because the detergent capsule compartment was broken and there wasn’t time to have the mgmt come over to fix it. So I had to hand wash everything we used which became time consuming. 2. The WiFi network provided in the folder did not match the actual WiFi network and password on the router which took some time to figure out. 3. I was given the presumption weeks in advance that I could check in early on the date of check in assuming no one had the reservation the night before. However, the day before when I was asked to confirm, they then told me they could not guarantee any earlier check in than 4 PM so I had to pay for an extra night”airbnb

“Place was beautiful on a golf resort and it was very clean. My only complaint was the place was hot and we were advised to keep the AC at 75 with no fans available in the unit.”airbnb

“Location is a huge plus for this Airbnb, especially if you’re attending Coachella. The home itself is very spacious with 4 rooms and can comfortably accommodate a group of up to 10 people. We also really appreciated how private and secure the property felt, being located within a gated community. The only downside was the limited starter supply of essentials like dish soap and laundry detergent. Since we had a larger group, we requested additional supplies but were asked to purchase them ourselves, which was a bit unexpected based on past experiences with Airbnb. Aside from that, everything else went smoothly - the unit was clean, comfortable, and overall a great stay.”airbnb

“The unit is good and location is great. However, the host company is difficult to communicate with and was not responsive at all. Prior to my stay, they required me to complete a check in form on a website outside of the Airbnb app, which was a red flag for me. The host company didn’t give clear directions on how to check in; I was given 3 different door codes and when I arrived, none of them worked. I had to wait for them to call me back with a new code, so we ended up not being able to get in at the listed check in time. During my stay, there were multiple times where I called or messaged the host company, and didn’t get any response or resolution. Overall, this unit was good for the location but I would not recommend booking it, simply based on the poor service I experienced from the host company.”airbnb

“First off, the pro’s: location was awesome 10 minute drive at the most to great restaurants, grounds were nice and well kept, covered parking, 3 pools seemed well maintained, condo itself was very cute, master shower nice. Amenities were as advertised. Cons: check in: key code was not working so had to wait in our car for over 20 minutes for someone to come and give us an electronic gate card. Floors: The floors turned our feet and socks brown. 5 minutes out of the shower and our feet would be filthy again. I would think that the unit should be mopped after every guest stay which it clearly isn’t as it was like this on the first day. Thermostat: was set at 76 degrees and locked so we couldn’t adjust it at all. 76 at night is way too warm for sleep. Had to contact the managers 3 times because the unit went to 82 one day and 77 two other days. Master sinks: need to be unclogged, filled up after running sink for a short while. Expected more for almost $400/night”airbnb

“This is the worst Airbnb experience I have had. This is not a host, it is a corporation. Their check in policy is ridiculous. We are on this platform, verified and that is all anyone should need to do. I received a notice just before arrival telling me I needed to zoom meet in order to confirm identity and hear house rules. That's an absurd ask but when I acquiesced, they proceeded to tell me I was not the booker. I ended up having to call Airbnb, tell them what was happening, Airbnb had to call the host and confirm I was, in fact, me. They still insisted on speaking to my 85 year old mother (she was my "invited guest" on the booking) My mother was at the airport in Seattle on her way to see me and there is no chance she could manage both that and a phone call let alone a zoom meeting. That and she wasn't even the person that paid or booked the reservation. After 8 hours of back and forth, we had a zoom. The listing is worn out and overpriced. typical of a corp.not a host. Do not stay!”airbnb
