AirSTR's guest rating of 4.68 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“was in Green Bay for a work project. Needed some space. This worked well.”airbnb

“Nicely renovated farmhouse with good space for families and small groups. Clean and well maintained. While a quiet town, there are newer coffee shops and bars emerging in the town that are great (and affordable!). Door county is an easy day trip and there are farms and other small towns nearby that offer fun, family friendly activities.”airbnb

“This place would be fine for a short stay, but it was not meant for a long stay. This was truly a landlord special, with thick paint and cracks in the ceilings. I was not allowed to have any guests (including my mom, who was there to move me out) stay without an additional fee, which was not mentioned anywhere on the listing. There were a lot of late-notice entries when I was not home, which made me concerned for my dog, who was there. The housekeeper scared my dog on multiple occasions when he wasn't doing anything wrong. The overall quality of the furniture and kitchen wasn't bad; it's just an older place, and it showed when staying there. Messaging before I checked in was not responsive, and parking was a struggle on multiple occasions due to limited space and people in the wrong spots. If I were to stay again, it would be 1-2 nights maximum. The price was not worth the quality of the unit, in my opinion. Check-in and check-out were easy.”airbnb

“We stayed here for Packers family night. Perfect location and an easy walk to Lambeau. For a group with kids, it was the right choice. Clean, spacious and the fenced in backyard is perfect for the kids.”airbnb

“Unexpected rule about not swimming in the marina that we didn’t learn about until check in. We were told that there were public beaches 5 minutes away. We booked this place to be able to swim at the house with our kids.”airbnb

“We just returned from our visit. Although the inside of the house was clean and very well decorated (except for the milky baby bottle between the cushions on the chair in the sunroom), the outdoors areas were in need of a lot of work - very disappointing! There was no table, chairs and umbrella down by the water (as in the ad picture). The walkways were all covered in weeds, branches, etc. The dock and walkways were not lighted as pictured - which was extremely dangerous , especially at night. The garden beds were all overgrown with weeds. Dead trees and overgrown bushes along with a garden brick wall laying in the grass. It could be so much nicer...would not return!”airbnb

“Bar service and response never agree for the problem and refund”airbnb

“This place was generally great! Very clean, everything worked, the house looked like the posting. The only problem was they didn't stock the house with any extra disposable/paper products (paper towel, trash bags, toilet paper, etc). They did communicate this, but not until 24 hours out. We (maybe stupidly) assumed that this did not apply to toilet paper, seeing as toilet paper is a basic human necessity, but we ended up having to do a surprise emergency toilet paper run halfway through our stay. The place is extremely clean, there are clearly cleaning crews coming through between stays, it would not be hard to include stocking toilet paper as part of their duties. Kind of a crazy and seemingly arbitrary choice not to do this.”airbnb

“The house was nice but we did have to clean the first floor before we felt comfortable hanging out down there. There were multiple spider webs with baby spiders everywhere and large flying bugs. We assumed we were the first people to stay for the season and assumed it was vacant for a while. Once we vacuumed the house it was a lot better. The beach area doesn't really look like the pictures anymore. There really isn't a place to lay out and it doesn't look safe to swim. The boat launch area is not open to swim but we went about 5 minutes down the road to swim at a public beach. We still had a fun vacation but wish the pictures were a little more updated.”airbnb

“Responsive host. First place I booked had no heat, gave heaters, just heated one room before it became -40 deg outside, despite post saying it had heat. Put me in new place, very helpful. During winter heat tough to control, bedroom upstairs had no ventilation or window so it was 90-100 deg F or cold. 2 weeks later I found sweet spot, room 75-80 F but 2-3 days a week was bad. Real problem was when it was warm outside. No other reviews during warm months. They put in a window a/c unit downstairs (2 weeks after warm weather started, it was miserable). But this was a huge safety standards breach. A/c had no effect in upstairs bedroom. It got to 90-100 deg F upstairs always despite a/c running for days. Non-livable illegal conditions, does not qualify as a usable room. Slept on hard floor downstairs until I left, they wouldn’t solve or give refund for the last month I paid for (got $35). I asked for fan, they asked to charge to buy and hourly rate to use. Would not gave helped anyways.”airbnb
