AF Stays
4.66
AF Stays's guest rating of 4.66 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“‼️ WARNING ⚠️‼️ DO NOT STAY HERE. I stayed for one night and (thankfully) took a picture from the check in day. The host is a complete scam and liars claiming that the coffee maker, cutlery (knives & silverware specifically) were missing aka stolen. Who has the time or energy to steal these items and what for? The exterior building door cam would be enough to prove that those items weren't removed by me. The host submitted a claim without even contacting me first regarding the issue and are demanding payment for items that were never present to begin with. IF YOU DECIDE TO BOOK MAKE SURE YOU TAKE PICTUES & VIDEO BEFORE AND AFTER CHECK IN. because of these false and unproven accusations I will be pursuing legal actions against this host.”airbnb

“Although there were many positives like good location free parking and easy check-in this place was utterly terrible for us. We came to Philly from Ohio for a concert and decided that this place was good for just a one night stay, everything was nice when we first got there everything looked good…until, we go to the concert come back home to change then go get food, and between the time of us going to get food and coming back to the BnB the power in our room and only our room shuts off, no outlets no lights no nothing, nothing to crazy just had to eat in the dark and then head to sleep. as we were cleaning up our food a lady from under us comes stomping upstairs and starts banging on our door screaming at us to be quiet, threatening to fight us, we weren’t being loud but the bed that we had was extremely sensitive and made a noise if you breathed on it, after those incidents happened I tried to contact support but the didn’t answer us, we left and slept in our car at a rest stop”airbnb

“This place was perfect for our little getaway. The fact that it came with a parking spot was just what we wanted/needed. The bed was comfy, the shower was great, and we were able to walk to get some food. Great location and great price.”airbnb

“We stayed 1 night. If you’re a body builder, you will not fit thru front/street door unless you turn sideways, door is slim! Location was doable, called uber for transportation due to parking on street was difficult. Shower floor was dirty and plates/utensils weren’t clean. Nasty dirty sponge was left to wash dishes!! Bed was comfortable with clean linens. Bring your own towels and washcloths which was not mentioned in the ad. The place is older so I understand that things won’t be level but the stars are slim and slanted. I got what I paid for. I will try a true AirBnB next time I travel.”airbnb

“Moths and Roaches have came out of the cracks of the wall and will bother you unless you kill them. Don’t bother texting host because they will not help at all and tell you that they’ll look when you leave !”airbnb

“3/5 stars: We wanted a budget option for the one night stay on our road trip, and that’s exactly what we got. Located near the subway and Passyunk neighborhood, this location was excellent and not too loud on Broad street. There is overnight parking on Passyunk, which we were able to snag. While this suited our needs, the cleaning crew were still working when we arrived at check-in. The shower floor did not look clean, and there were strange stains near the headboard. The entire building is the AirBnB, and another guest left the front door propped open and unlocked when we came back after dinner. The listing says that you could leave your luggage at your own risk, but that is not advisable.”airbnb

“My husband and I only stayed one night, and it was fine for just a night. Good location, easy to find, easy to park, and nearby to lots of restaurants and bars. However, there were a fair amount of hairs left behind- in the shower, and some on the clean towels and washcloths. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was also broken and unusable.”airbnb

“This host is a management company with multiple properties in close proximity. Their hired cleaning staff are insufficient in cleaning the home and rooms by themselves. There were piles of trash bags when I first checked into the home. My assigned bedroom had electronic kitchen appliances that were already dirty and rusty (toaster and microwave). The TV remote was missing batteries and couldn't be used. I was assigned a basement room and I found the ventilation system is very poor; when a guest cooks in the upstairs kitchen, the smell of it directly comes into the downstairs bathroom (i woke up to the smell of onions). Although this was out of the hosts control (they bought a pre built property) but as potential future guests we should know what we will face before check in.”airbnb
