“The cleaning crew started cleaning the unit while I was out for a run and when i arrived at 10, the unit wasn’t available to take a shower, caused me to be late for a meeting and the hosts refused to offer a refund.”

“This Airbnb is located a very convenient/walkable distance from the Reading Terminal Market, which is what initially drew me to this place, but after staying, it's probably also the only reason I'd pick it over someplace else. Pro's: -Located closely to fashion district which offers plenty to do. -Hassle free check-in and a free parking spot. -Elixr (great coffee place) located across the street. Con's: -Surrounding area is a bit sketchy and probably not the best place to be walking around at night. (Several overpass areas with homeless people camped in them). -Ammenities are almost non-existent and will not be resupplied during stay. (There was no paper towels at all, no tissues, half a roll of 1-ply toilet paper, two bath towels, and two hand towels) -As others have mentioned, you cannot control the thermostat at all. We had to sleep with the windows open to get some semblance of comfortable temps. -Shower water pressure is weak, so you'll be in there for a while.”

“Nice location, walkable. No light in bedroom broken, not enough towels for 4-day stay, only one fork, two glasses, did not respond when light switch did not work for more than 24 hours. Difficulty getting checking instructions place was simple”

“Decent one night stay! Very spacious and well presented upon arrival. Hosts were quick to respond when we raised a concern about stained bedsheets and immediately came to swap them out. The noise level is a bit much, especially because we can hear the upper floor guests running in and out, and general street noise comes through clearly. Parking was also unfortunately a slight issue, especially harder to find something close by late at night.”

“Convenient location, able to walk to many areas of interest. Off street parking was also great. However, the place could be cleaner. There was hair on the floor and on the bed, as well as what appeared to be small burn marks on the comforter. There street noise, something to keep in mind if that bothers you. We used a white noise app and it was able to cover up the outside house.”

“This place is as advertised. I found it a little hard to find after I had parked because I didn't expect it to be attached to the pizza place. That said, entry/exit was easy and having a dedicated parking spot was nice. What I didn't like about the place is that the thermostat is locked and you have to message the host to change and it took several back and forth messages over several hours to get it right. And even then, you don't get to control what temp they set it at. It's a rather basic feature, but it left me with an uneasy feeling that I had to message someone not there to adjust the thermostat. You can stay at a motel, pay a fraction of the price and you have the ability to adjust the thermastat to your liking.”

“Pros - Straight shot, less than 3 miles to Lincoln Financial Field. - Metro station was a 1-minute walk away. - Two dedicated parking spaces behind the property. - Great communication with the host and clear instructions. - Due to the issues below, the host offered to let me cancel for free. Since I couldn’t, they provided a partial refund. Cons - The unit was not clean upon arrival: - Crumbs, hair, and stains were left on the kitchen counter. - The “clean” bath towels were dirty. - A filthy sponge was left on the kitchen counter. - Mold was growing in the freezer. - Used/dirty bath gloves were left in the shower. - The bathroom towel rack was loose and about to fall off the wall. - The shower head was loose and about to fall off. - No basic cleaning supplies were provided, so I had to purchase some and clean the unit myself since I didn’t have time to cancel and find another place. - The walls are very thin, so you can hear people in the other units.”

“‼️ WARNING ⚠️‼️ DO NOT STAY HERE. I stayed for one night and (thankfully) took a picture from the check in day. The host is a complete scam and liars claiming that the coffee maker, cutlery (knives & silverware specifically) were missing aka stolen. Who has the time or energy to steal these items and what for? The exterior building door cam would be enough to prove that those items weren't removed by me. The host submitted a claim without even contacting me first regarding the issue and are demanding payment for items that were never present to begin with. IF YOU DECIDE TO BOOK MAKE SURE YOU TAKE PICTUES & VIDEO BEFORE AND AFTER CHECK IN. because of these false and unproven accusations I will be pursuing legal actions against this host.”

“Although there were many positives like good location free parking and easy check-in this place was utterly terrible for us. We came to Philly from Ohio for a concert and decided that this place was good for just a one night stay, everything was nice when we first got there everything looked good…until, we go to the concert come back home to change then go get food, and between the time of us going to get food and coming back to the BnB the power in our room and only our room shuts off, no outlets no lights no nothing, nothing to crazy just had to eat in the dark and then head to sleep. as we were cleaning up our food a lady from under us comes stomping upstairs and starts banging on our door screaming at us to be quiet, threatening to fight us, we weren’t being loud but the bed that we had was extremely sensitive and made a noise if you breathed on it, after those incidents happened I tried to contact support but the didn’t answer us, we left and slept in our car at a rest stop”
