ACP Vacation Rentals

“This corporate-run rental, lacksthe personal touch rentals we are accustomed to from Air BnB. Not necessarily a negative, but ACP makes it significant by threatening fees, requiring extra stops for check-in & check-out, providing less than friendly responses to inquiries, and providing minimum amenities. The house itself is very accommodating to our large party of 10. We never felt crowded. With a bathroom for each bedroom, a shared bathroom on the bottom floor, and a half bath for common area, we never felt inconvenience. The kitchen is quite large with stone counters, providing a great place for multiple cooks in the kitchen. Good cutting knives would be helpful The consumables are bare minimum if at all. We rented the house for a week. Items we bought after arrival. This Cost of Rental was significant. “The host’s communication was excellent before and during our stay. Instructions to check in and out were clear. The home is in a short walking distance to public access for the beach which was great! The home was very clean upon arrival and spacious for just us two and our dog. It was a very relaxing and laid back location and it was our first time going to a dog friendly beach! They did not have beach chairs which I believe is noted in the listing. However, we found that there is a company available on the island “Chaise and Rays” that will deliver and set up chairs for you at any location on the beach! This was a great option as we did not want to buy any chairs to pack back with us on the drive back home to KY. We would stay again with this host!”

“A great place turned out to be OK. About the cleaning part.The bedroom ceiling fans blades covered in dust and when we emptied the kitchen trash for the first time in the bottom of can were food particles and crumbs. On the balcony u have two lounge chairs with both of them having broken arm rest which could be a little dangerous.The extra bedroom blinds has a broken slant and the gap was filled with a white wash cloth ,Very sad. Wife found wash cloth between the washer and dryer.I looked further and found another wash cloth sitting on top of the surge protector.A great fire hazard. We don’t expect a perfect condo but this one very disappointed.”

“Our overall stay were uncomfortable due the letter passage in the welcome package of palmetto bugs. Along with experiencing these bugs, brought on sleepless nights. I had a bit of difficulty trying to access the lock pad and reached out to someone in the app. Nobody responded back to my message, but it show someone read it. Also the recliner chair in the living room makes the place seems unclean because it's cover in filth and stains. The Airbnb is spacious and with cool temperature for the hot summer days.”

“Was disappointed that there was painting going on the whole time we were there. So that was a little inconvenient as there were ladders in front of our door and men painting on the balcony’s Was also disappointed that both screens on doors to balconies were ripped so didn’t feel comfortable leaving g door open, especially at night when it would have been nice to leave door open. The pool behind our unit wasn’t available until the day before we had to leave so had to walk a ways to other pool Overall for the price it was ok. It was very clean so that was a positive”
