“Marshall Lodge was great. The property was clean and close to Bar Harbor and Acadia national park. The place was clean and had all the items we needed to have a great weekend. We arrived a few hours early and were able to check in which was an added bonus.”

“What a wonderful week at Acadia Woods cottages. The setup was perfect for our family of four (1yo and 3yo) and the modern amenities made daily life easy with young children. Not only was the cottage a perfect fit for our family, but the grounds cater even further to children and families. Community fire pit, games and toys you can borrow, and a lovely enchanted walking trail on the property that was a major hit with my kids. We loved the location on Mount Desert Island, too. Right off the main road and easy to get everywhere. Penny was an excellent host, too, with clear and timely communication throughout. We cannot wait to go back next year!”

“This was perfect for my family of 5 (including toddler twins and a big kid). Amenities were perfect- exactly as described, clean, functional, and just the right set of furnishings. Small, but if you’re off in the park most of the day that’s just fine (would also be fine for a indoor day or two, even with my family of five). Location was also great! We loved having food nearby and we were still remote enough to see a fox off the front porch. Shoutout to the owners for being family friendly: putting the time into an enchanted forest walk (which delighted the kids), putting books and games into the cottage, and making it easy to light a fire, roast a dozen marshmallows, and put it out. We were separated enough from the other cottages to feel like my loud crew weren’t going to bother others. And as a bonus: My three year old said he never wants to leave because the sink was so great.”

“A very outstanding state with great communication from the host and with great details on how to get ad well as things to do in the area. The cabin was extremely clean and everything felt and looked brand new. The area felt very safe, which was important as we rented the place for our 19 year-old daughter and her 19 year-old hometown friends as a trip before they went back to college. The only minor thing is that the girls mentioned the linens could’ve used some freshening up because it is a very popular place, but that is a very, very minor thing And to be honest, I think my daughter is a bit of a towel snob!”

“Wonderful trip and stay! I loved that it was away from the hectic feel of Bar Harbor, but close enough to Acadia to see the sunrise without having to leave super early! Host was responsive and provided beach towels for our afternoon at Sand Beach. Kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast and dinners! I would definitely consider staying here again if I returned to the area.”

“Our stay at Acadia Woods Rentals was 100/100! This host pays attention to detail in SO many ways. The organized binder with a table of contents including local menus, things to do, and how to’s for the rental blew me away. We loved the space and benefitted from many of the included amenities. The fire pit, games, etc. We will definitely be returning to Acadia Woods Rentals as it was only 10 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia. Perfect for what we needed 🙏🏼💕”
