“We had a wonderful stay in Bar Harbor. The pictures of the house didn't do it justice, it was much brighter and more open in person. It was very clean and a perfect location to walk anywhere you want in town or out to the sand bar. Also only a few minutes drive to Acadia! All the bedrooms were upstairs either on second or third floor so keep that in mind when booking but it wasn't a problem for the three generations we had staying there. They provided everything we needed and we appreciated the blackout blinds in all the bedrooms. We highly recommend this home and would happily stay here again if ever back in Bar Harbor!”

It was the perfect distance to Acadia National Park where we spent most of our time. Our hosts were awesome. We would definately stay here again when viditing Maine.”

“We stayed 1 week at the cottage. It is a very Maine cottage. It is rustic and comfortable. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. It had everything we needed! We loved having a fire every day. The cottage also has ample and interesting reading material and lots and lots of games. The bed and bedding was very comfortable. We loved staying at the cottage and will definitely stay here next time in Maine.”

“Very happy with Acadia Cottage. The owner was very helpful and responded well. This place was perfect for my wife and I. Very secluded area, yet very walkable to town. That was a big plus as Bar Harbor was very busy and it looks to be difficult to find parking. There are other places to stay in town, but if you like a peaceful/quiet location with a very short walk to town, this is certainly the place for you. Hope to return someday!”
