“If you’re looking for a peaceful relaxing home base while still being able to enjoy all Acadia has to offer, this is it! This is the perfect spot, close to Ellsworth for groceries etc, close to the park for day trips but far enough away from the crowds that you feel like you’re in your own private oasis. Watching the tide roll in and out and exploring the beach was new everyday. I highly recommend this property, it has everything you need in a perfect, clean and comfortable package!”

“Beautiful space and location to enjoy all that Bar Harbor has to offer on foot! We walked to Bar Island, to our whale watching dock, along the Shore Path, and to so many dinner and drink options. Nearby Acadia gave us even more to explore. The home is even more beautiful than pictured. We were so comfortable.”

“This cottage was a great place for us to stay for our week in Maine. Location was perfect, it was close to a lot of the restaurants and stores in the area and minutes from Acadia National Park. Also right down the street from the Bar Islant Trail! The place was clean and all of the amenities worked as expected. Beware that the steps to get up there are steep, so I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with mobility issues or that has trouble going up stairs. I definitely would stay here again!”

“If you’re vacationing at Acadia National Park, you must book Acorn Cottage. The cottage is walkable to downtown Bar Harbor and all that’s offered there and a short drive to ANP. Quiet, secluded and cozy, the cottage was prefect for our getaway. Kitchen well appointed and great view of woods off back patio.”

“Such a great, spacious, and convenient stay in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor! Our family loved the convenience to all that the downtown had to offer (shops, dining, coffee, walking, the pier) without having to pay for parking. The house was very clean, tidy, and provided many extra towels, plates, and even a restaurant-style high chair for our little one. Very pleased with our stay! Note: if you have two larger vehicles, parking could be tricky, but we were able to fit easily with a minivan and car.”
