“I recently rented this home as my family and I traveled to St. Louis for a memorial service. It was a short weekend visit. The home has been remodeled beautifully. The kitchen, by far, is the star of the show; modern and well appointed. The home is nicely decorated and they were purposeful in anticipating your needs. If you don’t mind stairs, the home is efficiently laid out. It is essentially 3 stories + a basement with no rooms on the main floor. The two reasons this place isn’t 5 Stars for me: 1) Rear entry through the basement was inconvenient but the only way to lock up 2) Noise sensitivities with decibel readers were intimidating and kept us from truly relaxing. We actually went other places to have fun. BTW, we were a 3 generation party of 6. There were no complaints made, it just felt intrusive. With a little more education on the decibel readers, we would stay again!”

“Clean place close to the highway. Safe Location, Spacious and clean. Only issue was fridge would not close all the way messaged the host but ended up fixing it myself.”

“The home was lovely and in a very convenient location for all of our plans. Ample parking & a large garage. We loved the single story as we had elderly parents & small children. We also picked this house as it had 3 full baths which was needed with 10 people. The decor was very pleasant and the living space was large enough for us all to gather with a large couch. We appreciated having an enclosed backyard for the kids. The kitchen was spacious and nice but we found it didn't feel fully stocked for cooking for 10 i.e. salad bowls, Tupperware, extra hand towels, etc. We did have a hiccup on our last day. One of the showers stopped working & the AC broke. We were in communication with the host who was responsive but could not get the issue fixed. We were not used to the heat and so it was a rough night. The host graciously offered compensation and asked what we thought was reasonable. We asked for 1 night comp but they came back with 1/2 a night. Slightly disappointed. But lovey host.”

“This was our third stay because we genuinely love this house. The location is excellent, the ranch layout was perfect for my mom with mobility issues, the beds are comfortable, and the attached two-car garage is a huge plus. Unfortunately, cleanliness has been an issue during every stay. This time, I contacted the host and shared photos of some of what we found. They promptly sent a cleaning crew, which I appreciated, but it was clear they only cleaned the specific items in the photos instead of the house as a whole. Sticky bar stools, dirty baseboards, long hair in the bathroom, and dried splatter on the kitchen bar were still there. The house needs a true deep cleaning, not just quick turnover cleaning. After three stays with recurring issues, we’ve decided this was our last visit despite loving the home and location.”

“The accommodations were nice and more than met our expectations. Loved the location to activities around St. Louis. We liked the enclosed parking area and is also very easy to park out front. The main level bathroom door is extremely loud when closing. We enjoyed our stay.”
