Aardvark Partners
4.76
Aardvark Partners's guest rating of 4.76 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The location is amazing, views are breath taking. Apt is spacious with some essentials provided. The listing says that it comes with shampoo, conditioner & body wash, but it’s a three in one. Not a big deal since target is below. The water pressure was extremely lacking. Both of the showers are kind of awkward/not enjoyable. I booked here because it had specifically a washer & dryer but, the dryer did not work. I contacted the host and he did not really help me. He refused to send someone to look at it until I went back and showed him a video of the dryer making us have to change our plans to get back in the middle of the day. I honestly felt like I was talking to an AI not a real person. I had to ask for updates multiple times with really no solution. I ended up drying my things in four separate loads, & eventually they got dry enough. We were only given one key which was less than ideal, but there is a doorman there most of the time, but honestly, the views/location were worth it.”airbnb

“The location of this Airbnb is great, however that’s about all I can say. The automatic blinds in the main bedroom do not work. It wasn’t mentioned in a review from about a week ago and was still not fixed for my stay. I communicated that to the host, and it was never resolved. The space was also incredibly cold. The heaters in the rooms did not work, and consistently blew out more cold air. The rooftop was one of the main draw for our stay, and as expected, nothing up there worked either (including the fire pit). When I reached out to the host, I was asked to send pictures and videos, which I was happy to do the first time. However, I was there to spend time with my parents who I hadn’t seen in over a year, not spend the weekend troubleshooting issues (some of which were already mentioned by other guests and should have been fixed before welcoming other guests). Overall, I probably would have gotten more value out of a nearby hotel.”airbnb

“It was huge and beautiful for the price! (If you're older or have mobility issues it might be challenging because there are several levels and lots of stairs. Great location too! It's in a quiet beautiful location and it's close to other great places like Wallingford and Freemont. Even cheap to Uber downtown, however, I was splurging g a lot this weekend. All around, it was perfect. And I got my morning workout running up and down stairs a lot! LOL! BETTER THAN EXPECTED!”airbnb

“Vince was a great communicator. Place was clean and comfortable. Great for a place to just “sleep”, not so much if you want to hang out there, basement with no view, and noisy guests above….you can hear everything.”airbnb

“Both front and backyard are neglected. Uncut grass, overgrown front yard. Fireplace was full of wood. Impossible to make a fire. Outside carpet very dirty. Flowerpots with dead plants. Stayed in several places around Seattle with my pet. Not one place had a pet fee. The charge here is $15 per day. I forgot to add the pet initially (my mistake). Over a week after moving out, Vince claimed damage to the property and wanted $300. When asked about damage, he stated that this was the pet fee. Every place I stayed at with my pet wrote very favorable revives about how clean I left the place behind.”airbnb

“It was smaller than expected but still nice. The bathroom shower is an open shower so it won’t close fully and the water would be all over the floor. Also the hinges on the shower were not fully connected.”airbnb

“House was very clean and in a great location. Vince was responsive, however, when it came time to check in, there was no code in the emails and we had to wait 30 minutes outside in front of the door for the host to respond. We were bummed about the rooftop experience, because both propane tanks were empty and we were planning on grilling and enjoying a fire under the full moon. We were told that the host did not supply propane, and it would be helpful if that was mentioned in the description. The battery for the blinds in the level 3 room was flashing red and died so the blinds did not work at all. All in all it’s comfortable and well located but considering the price point and the hiccups, I’m not sure we would stay again.”airbnb
