A Stone's Throw Bungalow

“This little historic cottage was an absolute gem! My wife and I stayed for three weeks with our dog, Carolina, while working remotely, and we genuinely did not want to leave. The location couldn’t have been better—just blocks from downtown, Old Bend and Drake Park, and an easy walk to the Old Mill District, Deschutes River, restaurants, coffee shops and parks, yet tucked away on a quiet, peaceful residential street. The fenced front yard was perfect for Carolina, and we loved sitting on the front porch in the evenings. Inside, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the hot tub was wonderful and serviced weekly, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the large dining table made a perfect workspace for both of us. The owner was extremely responsive and thoughtfully stocked the house with everything needed for a longer stay. After three weeks, it truly felt like our little home in Bend. We would stay here again without hesitation!”

“The bungalow was impeccable - looked and felt like a new renovation with high-end finishes. It was comprehensively & eloquently furnished / equipped - Diana had thought of everything! The A/C systems were more than adequate to keep the home cool in mid-summer heat (90F +). The landscaping was lush, and backyard patio was inviting and beautiful. This unit has a driveway for private off-street parking. The location is walking distance to all the desirable amenities of Old Bend, Downtown, and the Old Mill District / Hayden Homes Amphitheater. We will definitely stay here again upon our return!”

The A/C's in every room were deeply appreciated. We used the BBQ and quiet backyard for meals. The kitchen was decently stocked for simple cooking. Thank you so much!”
