3D Beach Rentals's guest rating of 4.67 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Place was amazing! Would stay again. The place was clean and welcoming with plenty of space for 6 people. The place was very clean other than it was quite dusty. They did not stock enough for a week stay for six people with toilet paper, trash bags, and paper towels. It is pretty buggy outside of the condo from the environment but it’s gorgeous! Nothing a little off backyard spray couldn’t fix. Definitely will be back, so so many memories made! Beach walk is easy, do not recommend the restaurant across the way.”airbnb

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, the pools and on-site restaurants were great, and the condo itself was nice. The large balcony was one of the main reasons we booked. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was disappointing. The balcony was dirty upon arrival, with sand, trash, cigarette butts, an unwiped table, and an unswept rug. I contacted the rental company the next morning, but by then we had already unpacked and weren't comfortable having cleaners enter after we had settled in, so I cleaned it myself. They mentioned debris can blow onto the balcony, but the amount of dirt suggested it hadn't been cleaned before we arrived. After it rained, the balcony drain was clogged with debris and flooded. Ironically, there was a notice asking guests not to track in sand or risk an extra cleaning fee, yet we found sand in the bunk beds and pull-out sofa. We also found clean dishes left in the dishwasher and no dishwasher pod, even though guests are asked to run it before ch”airbnb

“I wouldn't rent this place again for anything in the world. As soon as we opened the door, we found a lot of dog feces in the backyard; the inside of the house was very dirty, and the washing machine was disgustingly full of dog hair—they hadn't bothered to clean anything. We even found a pair of dirty women's panties (you know the kind) next to the washing machine. We spent an entire night and part of the next day—until 3 PM—without air conditioning; the heat was unbearable. The beds were in bad shape; we woke up with back pain every day, not to mention they made a terrible noise. Furthermore, the complex had too many restrictions; it didn't feel like a place for a family vacation. A pool security guard (a Latino, like us) had it out for us and mistreated us twice—to the point where my daughter got scared and started crying. I do not recommend this place at all.”airbnb

“Shower curtain was broken. Empty water bottle behind dresser, sand all over balcony, screen on balcony floor, cleaners should have seen that. Please let guests know they need to pack most of their kitchen if they plan to cook any food. Ice in fridge had smell. Carpet in living rooms needs changing. Looked like dogs have been living there. You can smell it. Lights on stove don’t work, bed in one of the rooms has a broken piece on the footboard with a screw sticking out of it, could have been a safety issue. Not worth what we paid for.”airbnb

“We were excited for our vacation, but unfortunately our stay was disappointing. When we arrived, we found dirty dishes, pots, and pans that had to be washed before we could use them. The pullout couch and washing machine were also dirty, and the home was noticeably dusty. Most concerning, we found pills on the floor, which was a serious safety hazard since we were traveling with two children and a toddler. I sent two separate messages to the host about these concerns. The only issue they chose to address was the Wi-Fi, and none of the cleanliness or safety concerns were acknowledged. The lack of communication and attention to these issues was very disappointing. The one bright spot of our stay was the beautiful view from the condo—it was truly the only part of the property we thoroughly enjoyed. We still made the best of our vacation, but I hope these concerns are taken seriously so future guests have a cleaner and safer experience.”airbnb

“DO NOT spend your money with a 3D Beach Rental Property. We were very transparent and kind about the conditions of the space we walked into (dirty and unclean)and were treated awfully by their property manager (TJ). There is too much to write about our experience, and 1,000 characters wont cover it. We were blessed to have another place to stay during our trip. Just look underneath the kitchen sink and you will see BED BUG CLEANER. Enough said.”airbnb

“The frustrating thing about staying at this property was 3D Beach Rental communication with me. A couple months in advance, I wrote a message to them asking if they had pillows with down because of an allergy that aggravates my asthma, which has been flared up as of late. When I got to the property there were several pillows that did. They came the next day and got them but it was something I asked in advance and they didn't check and that's obvious. The other thing which is not the fault of 3D Beach rentals or the owner; it is separate from them but needs to be addressed. If you like the smell of weed from the balcony, this place is for you, be prepared to get a contact high; it was awful. I say this because I have a daughter and did not like her being exposed to that. On the other hand, the view is incredible and the place looks as described in the pictures.”airbnb

“This is not a bad review but unfortunately it’s not as good as I would like it to be. The towels had stains, there was no hot water in the sink or bathrooms only hot water in the tubs & showers. They sent my check in information from a Unknown number days ahead of check in, the listing info clearly states “The check in codes and info will be sent before check in” so around 2 to 4pm (on check in day) I was checking my phone for updates on that information it was sent days before. Huge inconvenience! When I wrote them to get the info it took 40 min to get info back. I’ve been with Airbnb almost 10 years now the checkin info is always sent the same day not days ahead of checkin I didn’t see it! The pool was great! Beach access not too far but expect a 10 min walk not so bad & it’s a beautiful lake to see inbetween with fish & turtles. Food and drinks near by the staff really nice at hotel. The pool is toddler friendly!”airbnb

“We had a great stay at this Airbnb. The location was perfect — very walkable to the beach, and stores . The apartment looked exactly like the photos, the amenities were great, and it was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We also loved visiting Destin. The only downsides were that the bed covers in both rooms had some sand on them when we arrived, and communication with the host was difficult when we ran into an issue getting back into the apartment. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay overall.”airbnb
