Beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood. We loved our stay here. There is a binder that has anything you need in it such as grocery stores, restaurants, directions on removing pool cleaner, and so much more. Host was very helpful and responsive. The house was clean and very well maintained. A/C was cold ( it was 106° outside ). Covered parking was awesome! We loved this house and have nothing bad to stay. I highly recommend this spot to anyone that wants to stay in a quiet neighborhood where you can walk around and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

So we have stayed at this exact location two years ago. That trip was great. This trip though was not. This year the bedding was not clean, it did not smell clean and it had marks on it. They were also the exact same sheets from 2 years ago. These things have a shelf life. There were also several cockroaches that we found in the main house (not the casitas). The location is unbeatable and it’s a large location that’s easy to check into. Also we paid $195 to heat the pool but they would only allow us to heat it to 85 (which is basically nothing). This rule was never communicated to us until after we had already checked in and started heating the pool. Further more the pool cool decking is in need of repair, it’s crumbling. There are a lot of little things in disrepair like the main house sink knobs. None of these issues existed 2 years ago when we gave them 5 stars on everything.

Really beautiful home! Thanks so much for sharing this slice of Racquet Club life. The sun shone, the pool was perfect, the neighborhood was quiet except when the nighttime wind came through. The house is spacious and well-appointed. The only issue was that the wifi was a bit weak, but honestly we were happy to be off our laptops as much as possible. Would absolutely come back!

Mahalo for an excellent stay experience - very professionally handled and so organized down to a very well written welcome and instruction folder. The house was immaculate and so well stocked and furnished with everything needed!

Staying in the Royal Hawaiian Estates is like being transported back to Palm Springs in the 1960's - you can't help but relax into the tiki-inspired, desert resort lifestyle. This condo is spacious, delightfully decorated (the photos are spot on) and located steps away from one of the community's two resort-style pools and it's central jacuzzi. The beds and linens are comfortable, the nights are quiet (even with the windows open on cool evenings), there's plenty of hot water given the on-demand heater and the kitchen has everything you'll need for an extended stay. Bonus - the full-time residents could not be more welcoming. Put a Jackie Gleason record on the turn-table, pour yourself a Mia Tai and melt into a sunset over the mountains. Two thumbs up for the Royal Topika.

Beautiful house - well furnished in MCM traditional style. Pool & outside area were quiet, with wonderful Mountain View’s. Hosts were easily reachable & agreeable to requests.

Stayed here for stagecoach weekend, and it was lovely. The only complaint I have is for the beds in the room with 2 of them were not that comfortable. They made a ton of noise when you moved around. Other than that, this house was the perfect spot for our vacation.

The house itself was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax, which we really appreciated during our stay. The location was also great, very convenient and within walking distance to downtown. However, there were a couple of issues that took away from the experience. We found a cockroach in the kitchen, and there were leftover pizza rolls still in the oven from a previous guest, which raised some concerns about cleanliness. I reached out to the host about these issues but have not received a response.

The house has a cute vibe and enough space to accommodate me and my friends for the weekend. The hosts were also responsive and friendly. However, we encountered several issues during our stay. The main concern is that we found multiple cockroaches (both dead and alive) in the house. We notified the host and were told the home would be re-sprayed, but there was no follow-up, and another roach was found afterward so we're not sure it was cleaned again. While we were told this can be common in Palm Springs, the home should be thoroughly inspected before guest arrival to prevent situations like this. There were also a few maintenance concerns. The faucet in the shared bathroom did not fully shut off, resulting in continuous dripping. The master bathroom door would occasionally get stuck, making it difficult to open from the inside. There was also a noticeable musty or moldy smell in the house, though it was unclear where it was coming from. Sadly, we would not stay here again.
