“Great location beautiful home”

“This was a great Airbnb. Location is amazing right on the beach. Kitchen has plates, pans and silverware paper towels and dish soap. Bathroom is single sink but bar soap and plenty of towels provided. Outdoor patio has amazing views and solid furniture. Bedroom is on backside of unit facing street and area is quiet and peaceful.”

“We had a wonderful week at Grayton Beach thanks in large part to our stay at this cute and newly renovated home! We especially loved the kitchen and laundry rooms!”

“Location is great but it’s very noisy, you hear everything! Trash trucks, delivery trucks early morning hours. Woke us up several times. House does not come with any beach gear. Which is annoying to have to go buy boogie boards, kids toys. Most houses come with this stuff. No place to rinse off after the beach so the house is full of sand. No area to leave beach toys, chairs outside. The kitchen was nice but the bathrooms need updating. The washer and dryer were useless. The couch was full of stains.”

“We had a great stay here! Great location, fun bunk beds for the kids, and a great small space for a weekend at the beach. Right across the street from the pool and gym which was great and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Would stay here again!”

“Pros: *Great location and layout *Comfortable bedding *Quick response from management *Quick arrival of maintenance when we reported the HVAC failing to cool (see below for more on this) Cons: *After booking and the reservation was confirmed, they sent us a contract with items such as "don't ask us to check in early" and "we won't refund your reservation for any reason, even in the event of mandatory hurricane evacuation" (which contradicts Airbnb's own refund policy) really made us uneasy with the company. Later, they sent us additional bike waivers that required us to indemnify them from their own negligence before we could access the bikes. *HVAC extremely slow to cool (1.5 hours for 1 degree, and it was set to 77 when we arrived on a 96 day) *No blinds on the ground floor so after the sun sets, neighbors can see the full living, dining, and kitchen area We had a great time on our trip, but the CYA attitude from management really made us uneasy.”

“We were very disappointed in our stay. — The living room air conditioning failed to adequately cool the space, leaving the living room uncomfortably hot throughout our stay. We notified the host, and although someone came to address the issue, it was never resolved. We thermostat remained at 69 degrees) per the instructions, we didn’t put it any lower) but only cooled to 75. — Condensation/water was actively dripping from the air vents. — Multiple couches, beds, and linens had visible stains. — The floors were not adequately cleaned prior to our arrival. — The wine refrigerator was not functioning and was unusable.”

“We had a great stay and absolutely loved the location! The walk to the beach was literally just 2–3 minutes before your feet are in the sand, which was amazing. The carriage house was comfortable and worked really well for our stay. It could use a little touch-up maintenance here and there, but overall it was a great place. I did laundry in the garage area, which was convenient. The carriage house includes one garage parking space, and our Nissan Pathfinder rental just fit. There is also one street parking pass, although finding street parking can be a little challenging. We cooked a couple of dinners, rode the two bikes around, and used the beach items provided in the garage, including chairs, a net, and boards. The bikes could use some maintenance but were still nice to have. A couple of small suggestions: one extra roll of toilet paper would have been helpful, as extras aren’t stocked. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it, especially for the location!”

“With the beach access that you are given it’s shared with most of the neighborhood and it’s very limited on space. Would not recommend if beach is your thing”
