30A Cottages's guest rating of 4.64 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“I cannot say enough great things about this place from the amazing house to the beautiful surroundings. It felt like home and made you never want to leave. It’s in a great area as well within walking distance to shops and restaurants which was very convenient. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!”airbnb

“This little cottage is a nice place to stay. For what we paid vs what we received, it was a little much (8-2026). Very small place while my wife, 10mon. old & myself stayed a week. Livingroom, b-fast nook & kitch with washer/dryer downstairs & bedroom, bathroom, balcony upstairs & small spiral wood staircase. It has everything you need for a small family & don’t get me wrong, the location is pretty great. Short walk to town, one of the community pools is close, & private beach access right across the street from the neighborhood if you don’t want to go into town. The washer/dryer shake very loudly when using so we couldn’t use at night/naps. The water system needs addressed urgently. *** The water temperature fluctuates drastically if turned even the slightest bit. Both my wife & I were burned. If a small child used the shower alone they could be severely burned. Pre-check in is a bit much with initialing a 76 pg doc 46 times, community access, bikes, etc”airbnb

“We loved it and it was absolutely fabulous. The only thing I can say is for two women going on a vacation , and trying to make it easy without any kids. And everything from the start to be effortless. The paperwork was a little overwhelming having to deal with that and all the signatures I somewhat get it. But maybe that should be directed towards larger party, big houses things like that. Again, overall everything was nice and the and perfect for just two people.”airbnb

“House was beautiful, but it came with quite a few issues. On first arrival, the key was in the front door and not in the lockbox. The doors were difficult to close and lock for some of our crew. Internet was very slow to almost nonfunctional. Kids couldn't watch tv at all. Tv in master did not work. It was stuck on The Food Network. I love watching that station, but wasn't planning to watch it the entire time of my stay. Master bed post was leaning to the side upon arrival and couldn't tighten. Dangerous for a toddler. If you stay here, bring your own box fans!!! The ceiling fans are outside vs inside. The bunk room had only one outlet and that was for the tv, so the 4 teen boys that stayed in there couldn't charge their devices. We did find one box fan in the house but it was broken. Called for maintenance for all of these issues and he came next day late in the evening, but not prepared to fix anything. Never saw him again. Overall, not happy with the experience.”airbnb

“Home smelled like mildew along with our items when we got home. Mold around tub/ dirty shower walls and beat up interior needing paint throughout and stains on cushions/ furniture. We left a day early even though we knew no refunds were allowed due to the strong mildew smell making us nauseous and unusable shower due to a dirty algae covered shower curtain liner and scalding hot water which is dangerous in the shower. For the price They could’ve at least changed the $10 shower curtain liner which was disgusting. No attention to detail for the customer, just seems like it’s about making money. I’ve stayed in places that left gift baskets with local items for the guests and were spotless condition. I’m surprised the Seaside community allows homes to rent in this condition.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this property. The biggest issue was that the entire third-floor bunk room had no functioning air conditioning. This was where four bunk beds were located for the children, and it was well over 90 degrees upstairs. This was never disclosed in the listing. The children ended up sleeping on the living room floor because the space was simply too hot. The Wi-Fi also never worked during our stay. We contacted the property management company more than ten times and were repeatedly told they were working on it or would provide a hotspot, but that never happened. A portable AC unit was finally brought late on the second day, but it required leaving the window open to vent outside, which we did not feel was safe for young children sleeping upstairs. It did not adequately solve the problem. The most disappointing part was the lack of communication. We repeatedly requested updates, asked to speak with management, and even after checkout, our calls and messag”airbnb

“I was disappointed in the readiness of the rental, upon arrival, we were informed the bathroom on the first floor would be unavailable for 3 of the 4 days we would be there, an inconvenience to the guest in that room. The golf cart key was not in the lock box, making it unavailable for us, no one came to help. The kitchen sink was backed up on the disposal side, I cleaned it out that night so we could use it. The ice dispenser was inoperable, extremely loud if you tried to use it. The amenity bands from the previous user were left in a bowl in the kitchen and were found by the younger grandchildren who accidentally put them with our bands, unknowingly causing a problem with our ability to gain access to watercolor. I felt the response to our issues were not addressed in a timely manner.”airbnb

“Was not clean. Had fecal matter on the toilet seat and urine on the floor. Needs vacuuming under furniture. Only knew because the master bedroom was missing the remote so while searching for it I had to look underneath. Finally found it under a nightstand. Great job on the attention to detail. Obviously corporate run due to the terrible customer service. Also promised a 5% Military/First Responder discount that never happened. Every time I asked, I was told that there was some obscure issue. Yeah right. I think they just did that to get me to book. I doubt I would patronize this company in the future.”airbnb

“The kitchen is well stocked and nice. Beds comfortable. Decor and some details well thought out. Walkable to the beach and places to eat. Only one parking space - not 1-2 like advertised. You need to sign another contract to stay here which needed 46 initials!! Only for them to tell you to park the extra car in the empty lot next door:) Musty. And the flooring in the kitchen felt like I was going to fall through in a few places. Porch chairs cute ,but dirty.”airbnb
