“The house was overall great. However, there were multiple issues. It clearly had not had a deep clean or inspection in a while. Coffee maker was full of mold and Christmas/winter decorations still up inside and outside the house. Master bedroom separate from main house with no way to get back into the main house after dark due to no keypad on main home door. Fire pit had not been emptied in a while and was filled to the top with ash rendering it unusable. Hosts responded to coffee maker and fire pit issues immediately, but the number of issues were too great to ignore.”

“We absolutely loved staying at the Moonshine Way house. It completely exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. Our host, Johnny, was fantastic—very attentive and responsive. The outdoor space is fantastic, featuring great games and a wonderful firepit area—the swings next to the firepit were such a nice, relaxing touch. Inside, the home offers plenty of room for a large group and was exceptionally clean throughout. The kitchen was also very well-equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals for everyone. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the house is beautifully decorated. We spent several wonderful evenings gathered around the firepit and hanging out in the top-floor game room. That top-floor balcony view is the main reason we came to the Smokies, and it certainly did not disappoint. We sat up there for hours taking in the scenery and unwinding from our normally very hectic daily lives. This house is definitely a 5-star home in every way.”

“We had a wonderful stay in Destin! We were especially grateful that the host Johnny was able to accommodate us on such short notice when we unexpectedly found ourselves needing a place to stay. From the moment we booked, he was incredibly responsive, communicative, and helpful. He stayed on top of everything throughout our stay and made sure the home and pool were cleaned and well taken care of. The house was beautiful, comfortable, and a great place for our family to spend our vacation days. We truly enjoyed our stay and were so happy to have found such a nice home at the last minute. “We had a wonderful stay at Johnny and Ashley’s cabin! We were impressed as soon as we arrived. It is immaculately clean, very well stocked, and somehow it feels cozy and spacious at the same time. The beds and linens are so comfortable! My husband says it is his favorite Airbnb in Gatlinburg! We enjoyed having the game room and especially enjoyed the peacefulness and beautiful views from the upper deck. We were thrilled to see bears during our stay! My grandson didn’t want to leave and has already asked if we can book it again this summer. I think we were all a little sad not to stay a little longer at Moonshine Mountain!”
